Yeah round and hollow

Just had a quick look at air filter. Clean as a whistle apart from this oily patch? Cause for concern? Or normal?
-
Okay will give it a going over tomorrow let you know the result. Cheers for the advice

Evening all. Back with another problem! When starting my bike i start it up put my helmet and jacket on gloves etc jump on engage first gear and when i go to pull away it seems to go “flat” stutter then when i change into second its fine also sometimes cuts out if i rev it in first then come to a stop. Once bike is running it seems to be fine albeit the odd cut out at lights when idling. I changed the oil to castrol 10w40 and it needed a new coil pack as well which i have since replaced. Any ideas? P.s its fuel injected
-
Or the wrong type of oil if you used Car engine oil it can cause the plates to stick more noticeable on down shifts and engaging a gear from stationary. I did use castrol 10w40 motorbike oil
-
my bike when going up the gears seems fine but when using the clutch to come back down through the gears i seem to have to let the clutch out slightly and back in again to engage the gear?! Any help on this please? I have recently done an oil change and its the correct level

Cbt a1 a2 and a licensing
Rkel1988 replied to Rkel1988's topic in CBT, Test and Advanced Training Information
Sweet. Just need to save up the 600 pound or so to do it -
Bit confused about the whole licensing arrangement. Im 30yrs old had a cbt for 2 months now does this mean i can go out and get my full bike licence at anytime or do i have to do my a1/2 first?
-
It happened about 30 miles before the ok diner going southbound. I know but luckily its a cheap fix. Cheap chinese parts. My own fault for buying!
-
Rode it for about three hours straight 50/60mph burnt out the coil pack to the spark plug.
-
So currently broken down on the side of the a1 waiting for recovery coil pack burnt out pushed it too far for too long

I thought the only way to ride a 125 was flat out?!

Pals looking for an old honda or something as a resto project around 500cc. Any out there that need a bit of tlc?

Nope not even close i do possibly do 15 miles a day commuting. I do it regularly in a car but its obviously very different. Yikes! Then like others have said, take it easy on the ride out then. I've ridden up to 100miles in one day and I thought it was pretty heavy going, however not all of it was country road riding too, not sure how I would handle if majority of the road is NSL. Sorry for my naivety what is nsl?

Ride safe out there! @Rkel1988 have you ever ridden that distance before or close to it? Nope not even close i do possibly do 15 miles a day commuting. I do it regularly in a car but its obviously very different.
