  1. I once rode my bike to the garage 1mile down the road with the rear brake callipers bouncing around. I had half finished putting the rear back together then moved on to sorting Carbs. Couldn’t fix the carb leak once I had serviced them (cracked bowl) and in a fluster did not check. Once I had booked the garage. I looked and felt a total twit.
  2. Cheers sprinkled on top, cool crepe/pancake one side flip it, add the egg and the cheese on top so the heat through the pancake cooks the egg and melts the cheese.
  3. I don’t have the energy, too unfit because of too many carbs.
  4. Rich and beautiful. Needed some roasted mushrooms and maybe some garlic spinach to make it a perfect meal.
  5. It was a thing Rick Stein did on Saturday Kitchen. A crepe with a fried egg and cheese in it
  6. I’m not quite the Stud that @jedibikeris though.
  7. @jedibiker next week will be exhaust week again on TMBF
  8. Will post in epicure my lunch. We tried a thing off of Saturday Kitchen.
  9. Having to put the bike to one side I am doing house chores and attending to my future food,
  10. Thanks for the advice. I have a torque wrench. Wrong size though for my sockets that are small enough I will have a butchers at options.
  11. You’re right, not being able to get the exhaust to marry sufficiently prevented the gaskets crushing I think
  12. Have ordered new gaskets from Cradley Kawasaki one thing I can’t work out is you can buy new flanges, how the flipping heck do you get them on? i have new to me four into two coming and new gaskets. I just need to remember that this wasn’t even the original problem and once the exhaust is on I need to fit the oil cooler and put oil in before starting. watch this space next weekend for more f**k ups
  13. No new studs, I was struggling to get the nuts on but identified the cause for that.
  14. Latest pictures I took the gasket off to take the photos and to show it. I am confident in how the gasket works, it is crushed against the outside of the head by the pipes. I will buy new gaskets because why not. The pictures of the down pipes against the head are wrong because because the downpipes were unable to marry up to the head because of the bent ness of the pipes.
  15. I have two manuals. The gaskets I had did have a flatter side and a rounded until I tried to use them. everyone keeps saying they don’t look right but can someone explain what is not looking right please?
  16. I will buy some more. The ones on Wemoto look exactly like the ones I already have. The rounded ness on the ones I had bought is because the material is folded over on itself to create the three dimensional ring. where is that you looked Rob? I googled and came up with a US site but was not confident in the model.
  17. I have reflected and decided to buy the four into two that is a straight replacement but not in stainless. My thinking is less risk if there is no variation. Is there anything I should do whilst I have it all off and apart?
  18. I won’t laugh. Really gutted for you.
  19. I’m really not sure. The single has stainless down pipes, the double is a straight replacement but not stainless (the ones I have knackered are stainless). I’m quite torn. Other side of things I bike will be slightly narrower with one silencer.
  20. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ZZR600-Exhaust-Downpipes-Headers-Genuine-Kawasaki-1990-1992-829-/133630545527?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292 https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Kawasaki-Zzr600-Stainless-Exhaust-with-micron-silencer-from-a-1992-model-/254873422640?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49292 these are the two second hand options.
  21. Here are pictures of the exhaust taken apart to see how the copper gaskets fit. I felt inside the engine holes and there is no edge for gaskets to push up against inside the holes.
  22. Any reason not to buy a four into one full system to replace my four into two system?
  23. Will look into gaskets and get some more from Wemoto to be sure but all the stuff I have seen on the net suggests that the gaskets don’t sit in the holes in the engine.
