  2. cant, same problem as damien, minimum 6 years expereince to join cbi. otherwise hell yes with their money! Need to finish college as well F**k it
  3. F**k IT!! boss is having a go at me for not getting all my work done, regardless of the fact that im now doing 2 and a half peoples work since we've had soo many people leaving (7 handed their notice in this week so far!). Told him to get stuffed cos its unrealistic, but just bloody annoyed with work atm
  4. If you tax it online rather than at the psot office then you dont need proof of insurance (so dont ahve to wait for document), jsut an idea

The lights sound like the fall damaged either the connection to the rear (most likely if both have gone, does the break light stil lwork?) or the indicators themselves have been damaged. The front ones will flash faster because the rear ones arnt work (ie. dont worry about them, when the rear ones work they will return to normal. something to do with the amount of resistance in the circuit, someone with better electrical knowledge could explain). Wouldnt have thought starting the engine with no oil in would be a good move (or was there still some inside?). also the engine would have flooded when the bike was sideways, so letting it drain then trying it might have better success. Otherwise does it spark, starter motor work, fuel lines intact. many things to check, hopefully someone can give you a more structured checklist (EAB i'm looking your way ) Bad luck with the off, sounds like a prat, well done for avoiding him though! glad your not hurt
  6. I've done the poll for beer and larger, But jsut in case I need to actually reply as well: BEER!!! LARGER!!!
  7. ear plugs nman? or would that be frowned upon in the work place? F**k it, this entire week has been solely reports sorting and checking, turning brain to mush, and this isnt even my job!!!
  8. People driving too slowly is fine, assuming they move back to the slow lane, and others do after overtaking. Its when cars move slowly in the middle lane I get annoyed (and usually do a lap or two of them before continuing). Speedo's can read up to 10% higher than what your true speed is, sat navs are accurate, although there is a slight delay when acceralting or braking hard. if maintaining a constant speed then it will be pretty much on the dot accurate. my old er6f was 1 mile out below 50 and 2 miles out up to about 110, wheras my new gsx can be up to about 7 or 8 mph out at higher speeds
  9. I dont tend to pay too close attention to the speed limit, I'll do what I think is safe, usually a tad over 30 on the roads which are wider strighter and with a better view, but even if its a 30 through residential areas with cars on both sides i'll slow down to 25 or less as I dont know when somethings about to jump out on me, but this is nothing to do with what the speed limit is, jsut weather or not I can safely stop in the space I can see.
  10. Yeh I did mean my parent, sorry for the confusion. And fair enough, I'll take your words for it, obvs a sensitive subject for a lot of people (I was jsut going off what the website said for how they calculate it, but thats obvs inaccurate then)
  11. unless somethings gone wrong (in which case contact CSA, dont just post here) its been factored in if he has other kids to look after (yours/his) and he shouldnt being paying more than he can afford as this is a f**k it thread, whiney parents driving me up the wall
  12. seconded, THANK YOU!!! And in fozzies defence it only went wrong twice I think (we'll gloss over the time finding the camp site), so comapred with nowt it was bloody good (even attached to the little 125 leading a huge pack off 600's)
  13. Just a general f**k it, crap day at work, still here for another 30 mins at least. honestly wondering if its worth the money or not. I know i'll prob cheer up once I get out of here but right now pretty much everything else is looking better. Useless gits who I work with really dont make things any better.
  14. Fairs enough, tbh I was only counting staying and food. Drink is optional extra (think I spent about 20 last year in total, minus petrol, which was prob about another 30). That sucks then, shame you cant make it this year
  15. Thats rubbish nat! surely you can spare the odd tenner or so it'll cost! Starting to really look forward to this now, its getting closer all the time, really do need to sort out a costume lol
  16. Do you think it will still save you in a crash? Only you can judge how hard it impacted, although if you have thickish carpet and it dropped a foot or two I would generally trust it still. (out of curiosity, how did it fall off? did you put it upside down again?) F**k it, young people not listening (said tongue in cheek completly, jsut figured there should be some f**k it in there lol)
  17. I certainly agree with this part of the plan
  18. Why not have a crack on one of the other fairing panels we have in the garage? see how it turns out, if your happy with it then give it a go, if not get a company to do it?
  19. I'll be up for this, don't know what group i'd fall into, other than not with the 'brisk' riders, since I don't think i'll ever learn to keep up with my current cornering. Second (or 3rd/4th whatever we're up to now the stop at a chippie or tea/coffee shop) Spafe-gsx1400
  20. I've had 3 suzuki and 2 kawasaki, and a derbi. so for me rust buckets and kwackers are most common.
  21. Should have gone home already, but nooo, jsut cos literally 3 minutes before I go I get asked to run some reports, which need to be done for 7 tomorrow morning and im in college tomorrow, I now have to stay behind to do em now. F**K IT!!! Stupid Ba****d engineers!!!
  22. Good luck, and dont worry the mod 2 is a lot easier than the mod 1 Might want to change the dates in your sig
  23. Failing all else, look at a scorpion ex450 or similar (pretty sure other manufacturers do their versions) which has a pump thing in it. means that even if theres a tiny bit of movement when you 1st put it on, pump it up to a snug fit. I had the 450 and I think ruthie has one as well. Tried going back to a normal helmet after I was knocked off, didnt like it, got the ex1000 cos I love that feature now. Different companies have different shapes, try many
  24. Make sure you wire it up to the ignition so it cant be left on, otherwise it will deffo drain the battery, mighty inconvienant whan that happens (ie right when you dont need it to lol)
  25. Who knows!!! thats half the fun lol, like a lucky dip
