  1. Full sets are quite expensive, and you will probably use less than half of them really, as you will probably come across the problem before you remove everything.

You will probably be able to get away with a top end gasket set, strip the engine down to the pistons, and hopefully you would have come across the guilty gasket. It's probably the barrel gasket, which is a pain int he arse to get to, but it's a cheap fix.

Exhaust gaskets are only about 20 - 50p each and probably wont come in a full gasket set. You can get them off wemoto and ebay.

Ohh thanks! yeah I got email listing the gaskets at 5/10 quid each, but some are full and just 16 quid, always confused, but I just buy most likely ones that need replacing :)

  2. Thing is if I get a plasma I'm stuck with a plasma as it will be big, can't then go smaller later on if you get what I'm saying.

I dont think any tv knows the technology to shrink from 42inch to 32 when requesting it to,

I think you watching transformers before bedtime

  3. I woudnt worry about waiting for OLED as it will be super expensive but will drop down in price after months, but as technology goes another better thing comes out so better just to buy a tv...

Panasonic verrira things are tidy and nice :)

  4. I would start the application process if your serious about it.. It takes forever to get through.

One thing about delaying joining, I want to experience afghanistan, I know it will be the hardest thing I have ever done, I know a lot of lads end up in a mess and discharge with PTSD and stuff, I'm not saying I wanna go to kill someone, anyone who talks like that is an idiot. I would like to know how my body and mind deals with that situation, plus it's things to tell the grandkids.

I do think that there will be a divide between people who join the army after afghan is over, it may not be obvious, but if you spend 6 months in a warzone with a bunch of lads your going to bond on a level that's just not possible to get through, shooting on ranges, and living in the field during training exercises. I may be wrong.

I'm also bricking it at the prospect of going, but excited too.. Surreal feeling knowing when I pass out I could be there this time next year.

Yeah it's tight squeese but i think they will be there again soon anyway, but only thing that worries me is when you need a number 2 in the middle of the desert? and far from the base must be weird. weird why that is the only thing that worries me!

Hopefully I will get out there soon but be around another year and 6 months if i get into training next year : o

  5. thanks man some good tips

but yeah royal artillery is great!, i swear to god like 70% of the chicks who join royal artillery are super hot and i think it's like 50/50 ratio anyway! so good choice lol

  6. so your doing a full rebuild because its using some oil :?

how much oil is it using over how many miles?

Got told to look in engine you need to replace them bits so think its true dunno :P

Ummm, I used a full bottle of halfords for around 2months, brought 5 litres one now put some in last week and had my mod 1 training last weekend and they put in half a litre as said it was dry!.

Had many theories, the oil's cream so means water is inside it, and like i stated about burning hole, but also where i ran around for a week without oil it pooped the engine.

I use it around 8 miles every 2 days as i cycle to work the other day, but if i lazy that week it's all 5 days, so 8 miles per day

  7. Hi pitstop crew, attempting to find one, looked on like their offical motorcycle parts, and ebay also some sites that sell parts but cannot find a complete gasket set for a engine or exhaust sort of thing. I think the gaskets (complete one) covers the exhaust aswell but If not i'll buy 1 for engine and 1 for exhaust

But all I find is either expensive single items or complete ones for 1980's cgs :/

I have 06 one so giving up here guys so hopefully you can step in and know where to look or something, cheers :)

-reason i need one as engine is using lots of oil but no spileages or burning, it's like got a hole inside where it drips down and burns off inside engine- also my exhaust rattles lol

  8. You can get flights over there really cheap with easy jet,

But with the millitary views you get different nations like usa/uk based in other countries and they purchase cars over there till their duty has ended.

The ONLY car i will get is a r34 and quite a few american soldier in japan sell them

  9. Go on then, I am in, I only have 2 tickets though.

Couple of caveats for me. If I win is not really good enough, I might win £3.30 and have to buy you an Agusta :D so the win must be over 10 million.

No buying stupid rare 200k bikes for me either, I am not keen on people picking a bike like that just as an investment (and that is what it will be, nobody who cannot afford to buy one themselves would ever contemplate actually riding it) so I am putting a cap on of 20K (which I revised upwards so you could get your MV Agusta, although I nearly didn't when you spelled it wrong :)) I am happy to buy somebody a bike they will ride and enjoy, not a garage queen or an investment.

I will have a brand spanking KTM RC8 R in Orange and White please :)

    Karimura - MV Agusta F4-RR - Red/White

    Weebl - KTM RC8 R - Orange/White

Hehe I spell it as I prounence it.. probably spelt that wrong too!

Good man that you're in though! 500% increase in getting a bike already! I will treat you to a slip on exhaust for it aswell haha

  10. Hi guys, I have brought 3 lucky dips as they didnt want to accept my random numbers i came up with which was 3, 11, 33, 37, 42, 5 7 so if they win I will cry.

but to the point as it's over 100 Million I can afford a bit of charity to the kind people of TMBF!

If I win the lottery, i pledge to give you a motorcycle of YOUR choice OR insurance for 10 years and I hope you will do the same if you win to the people who post here.

Can be anything from a 500 quid 1989 cg to a 2012 spanking new to them rare ducati thingys that are 200k. (up to you)

    FOr exmaple

    Karimura -

    2012 MV augusta F4 RR - RED/WHITE

( one too many black bikes these days!)

And who ever does post I will give you your motorcycle of your choice! I will simply get everyone to one meeting point ( free private taxi included with mini fridge of sparkling water) to get the people who post their bike :P

Anf if you post and dont do same we will hunt you down haha

  11. A general tip, but if you know there's something you are after to bring home, then order it from amazon.com and have it sent to the hotel. You'll save on the state sales tax.

obviously not so practical with clothes, but camera gear etc it works a treat. We did it with lenses and they were waiting for us when we arrived.

yeah we came home with laptops/cameras and other gizmos for like 70% less that you pay here :/

  12. Is it Orlando you are thinking of?

    I looooooove Florida :D

When we went we bought our park tickets in advance, which gave us unlimited entry into Busch Gardens, Seaworld, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure and Aquatica for 2 weeks, that was £180ish each (or you can get a 4 park ticket which is slightly less). You have to pay for parking which is about $15 for a day but it still works out quite good value, I just checked and universal is $80 for one day normally.

If you are staying in the likes of International Drive then you would probably be ok without a car but further out a car would be useful, I'm not sure how good public transport is and things are quite far apart.

Aside from the parks there is LOADS to do, shopping, eating, attractions, wildlife, etc!

We also went down to the Keys when we went which was absolutely beautiful but its a long drive down (and it rained... a lot... but it was rainy season! :D ).

Yeah we went florida 3 times haha, always had our little villa behind near wal mart ^^ was really good, I love the magical places you go as they really put detail in everything from bins to just a fence :P

Shops were good to look around aswell, we tried going to beach but was too far so we went to holiday parks which was really brilliant
