Last year I spent Christmas day on the island of Koh Phi Phi with my wife on our honeymoon, drinking beer and eating a proper Thai curry. This year I'm sober on Christmas day for the first time in about 14 years or so, awaiting the imminent birth of my first child, due any day now Merry Christmas get some sleep now when u can lol...get a good cover for bike and a smart charger and red bull lol...all the best to u and wife mate but advise to u ...don't look down lol

Low sun and OAP Christmas shoppers ....bah humbug lol....first on mine since month ago.bit fluffy at start but cleared after 3 mins idle and 10 min run..advise to road run if can to keep them sweet!

Also some mopeds (like mine)have a decompression valve in head to drop compression when starting.. Seen them stick slightly open with carbon and sometimes return spring sticks.....it's just like a tiny cyl head valve

yes the sound of a 2 stroke coming sputtering round a roundabout then clearing into a powerband rev is something heavenly lol....no smoke no poke lol..its very funny sitting on even my gsx750f knowing that it can clean the floor with most cars for little cash ! fully agree with this but I'd put needle clip centre position first then move down as req.as far as I'm aware each notch on needle is a half jet size ???? I set up wee lads tuned pw50 and my Moby not standard either and my tuned 2 stroke xtc...carbs on 2t fine slow art.also careful of premix as engine may be running to weak if was running a pump ...ur maxi hasn't got one so would be premix from factory

I fully agree about switching off life worries on a bike due to thinking about riding safely... I think all car drivers should ride a L plate bike for a week to show them issues we know off as bike riders.above all it has to be fun and relaxing and even letting OAP cross the road ,as we know not all bikers are cock's

I've found filter passed someone u know and jumping traffic great fun.as billy Elliot said ..its like electric lol..best thing I ever did in years ( apart from getting married, house,kids) even the autograss racing for 9 years comes 2nd for thrills compared to biking

Was asked by a old friend ..why a motorcycle? I tried to explain about freedom,no noise from people ,and feeling the road and wind blast in face .....any others I missed or wot would u say about best bit of riding a bike ???

Update ...if it's a mixture screw it'll be with very fine taper needle tip..hope this helps

If its a idle screw it will be tapered against carb slide ...u may have to adjust idle by cable thread on top if that screw is mixture...usually tighten very light in ( counting as u do to reset if adjustment no good) and unscrew 2 half out.very similar to my moped carb.could be poor condenser and if renewing it fit outside of mag set to keep cool( 2 strokes run hot and kill them)...is crank seals OK ??

Normal wait time in A+E in NI is 5+6 hours ....last time I was in for chestpains I was in waiting room 9 hours as they lost my blood sample and ECG results....then told go home lol...normal in NI ..best way to be seen straight away is to arrive drunk with police escort !!

I never rode a bike before...bought a cg passed CBT and rode for 2 years to get road sense ..as I found when u ride a bike for a while u see that car van taxi lorry drivers are arshholes ....then I rode a Sachs for 9 months before passing my test after just 5 lessons.I say the cg riding was most important to my learning start than any lessons.and u only learn as u ride.to do test and ride a proper bike without experience and with a cocky attitude I'd say ull be in a box in weeks.u MUST treat the bike with upmost respect at all times and look and be prepared for possible balls up to happen.ride safe ride happy ..be nice to hear on the pass rate for the "quick way to pass test " and survival rate
