  1. Hi all Just a quick one would a remus link pipe fit a devil slip on? I have no specs on either, I may have found a cheap source of the remus pipes This is for my vara 125 btw
  2. No worries, gona get my hands dirty on Saturday getting it apart then
  3. Right, any ideas how im going to get internal diameter without taking the pipe off? Would be annoying to take off, measure, then put back on again ...
  4. Yeah no probs, Will get the measurments of diameter and cover off pics tomoz. Probs wont be able to send you the exhaust as I commute on the bike every day
  5. HI I have taken some pictures and have outlined the areas that I need a pipe fabricated for. I will be able to get some more accurate lines/measurement when I get the actual can in the post http://i53.tinypic.com/yncdj.jpg http://i52.tinypic.com/1z1vdow.jpg http://i56.tinypic.com/2qnxh0p.jpg LEt me know if the pictures are too rubbish and Ill get some bigger ones.
  6. Sorry, Varadero 125 2009 I have had a go, but doesnt seem to fit in the old location. Yup relay is already wired and ready to go, just need to find a place for it

    Air horn

Hi all Due to me riding around with numpties on my commute, I have purchased a Nautilus Compact air horn. Now, Im looking for places to mount it, the front area where the horn is at the moment is a) a bad place due to water, spray etc b) doesnt have a spare mounting hole. I was thinking of mounting on the side of my top box , but then the sound wouldnt be directional Any ideas?
  8. Quite possible, although I have used them in the past for a couple of custom exhaust jobs so you would think they would jump at the chance to make 30 odd quid from bending a small piece of pipe twice! Cheers for your help.
  9. I dont have any pics but this illustrates it quite well: http://www.bikebits4you.com/images/HOT_ ... 08_RSB.jpg The silencer section is seperate and is held on with an exhaust clamp. The stainless section of pipe in the image is essentially the bit I need
  10. Such are the joys of the internet! Cheers!
  11. Or so you would think, from the reactions of most places I have tried! I currently have a devil slip on can but am missing the pipe from the can to the engine. Devil sell this as a kit for my bike (2009 Honda varadero xl125v), but nobody sells the pipe seperately. Any ideas on what I can do do obtain this piece of pipe? My local exhaust shop quoted my 70 quid, which I think is a bit steep for a bit of pipe!?!? Thanks in advance!
  12. Just to re-phrase this for you: Pull the clutch lever in (towards you) with your hand and if the noise stops with it pulled in like this, then it's probably clutch rattle. If the noise continues, it is probably not clutch rattle. Now get that dealer to give it a good check-up Ahh ok. Cool, Thanks!
  13. Will it get quieter and louder with clutch in or out?
  14. Less viscous not more viscous! (as per vid)
  15. Its going back for a service in 2 weeks, havent got a chance to get it there before hand, just wondering if its something simple I could fix in the meantime.. Interesting Vid, its sounds vagely like that actually, a bit queiter but I dont have it when at a standstill.
  16. Will clutch rattle only happen when moving? When im not moving the rattle stops which makes me think its either chain or brakes.
  17. Hi all. I have an odd noise coming from my Vara. when riding along I can hear a grinding/chingling noise, sounds very similair to somebody jangling keys. I hear it most when riding past parked cars/walls etc which makes me think its coming from the side of the bike. Im thinking chain slack, how much slack am I meant to have when sitting on the bike at the loosest part of the chain? Any ideas where else the sound could be coming from . Its an 59 vara with 500 miles on the clock.
  18. seems normal if its the CLUNK into first. My ybr did it and my brand new vara does it too.
  19. Hi all. Looking to get a top box for my 125 baby vara. Was wondering, do I have to get a Honda one (to fit on the bracket thats already there) or will any one fit? Also can anybody reccomend any? Thanks all!
  20. Each to their own tbh. Im happy on a 125.
  21. Yeah I will but its mostly for the other numbers. heh yeah I thought thats about it would show up, I wonder If I can get the 0-60 time under 20 seconds
  22. Its a bit OTT for a 125 though, i could understand you being into the figures for Track or Drag racing,. but you can still work out MPG or MP£ using the trip and the petrol receipt. and its doubtful you would see a return on the Veypor when it came to sell, probably more likely a loss on the bike as its not stock... (mileage accuracy etc..) It is overkill but I like all the different numbers. + when I come to sell the bike I can just remove it...
  23. I would hope that that was accurate to within 2% ... 2% accurate is a weather forecast HAH! I just noticed that typo
  24. Yup that's what I was going to say. A search in google will get you a wiring diagram too Yeah but the magic of the veypor is that it uses accelerometers, tach readings, and speed readings to estimate your fuel level and economy, independent reviews have it down to 2% accurate.
  25. yyeah but im also a stickler for numbers. I love to know all the different numbers etc. Makes me happy i no about the trip meter method. Im uisng it currently anybody have any idea about the wiring though?
