Unfortunately even of you don't claim you will still have to declare this loss when applying for future insurance or risk another
I don't think this is true fastbob? There's only 3 pertinent questions on an insurance quote to my knowledge : 'have you made a claim', have you had insurance invalidated, and what's your ncd...
Not my experience. Perhaps I'm using the wrong companies

Anybody actually doing any riding today besides me?
I've been on this forum 5 minutes and this is already getting old. How do the rest of you cope?
Let's see some riding pics and vids then you f@cking casual!
Something like this will do!

Tell him to shape up @Six30.

what a strange post... just go watch it, if you dont like it dont go watch it again.
That's exactly what I thought but I didn't quite know what to say .
Same here fastbob. Sometimes you just need to tell it how it is. Thankfully Six30 is never gonna fall into the trap of worrying about upsetting someone with an honest answer

Unfortunately even of you don't claim you will still have to declare this loss when applying for future insurance or risk another company finding a way to reduce what they pay out to you. Since the No Claims Bonus was made completely pointless by the insurance companies greed of offering to "protect it" for an additional premium they now ask you like questions like " have you suffered any loss or damage whether or not it was your fault or if a claim was made or not in the last 5 years". I treat insurance as nothing more than a piece of paper that keeps the police off my back as dots not worth much more than that. They constantly take the piss. The very fact that an insurance company will sell you a policy then try and convince you you need gap insurance to protect yourself by being fleeced by them just seems like it should be illegal.
The system is a mess and it doesn't pay to be legit. I once got 6 points and a £900 fine for speeding on the motorway at 4am (96mph). A local scroat who waited for a pensioner to reverse his car out of the garage, hit the pensioner over the head when he got out to close the garage door, stole the car and then went on a joyride and police chase got a one year ban on the license he didn't even have and a £100 fine. Not that I'm bitter.

You maybe worrying over nothing. Speak to the insurance company first. They can be absolute theives but they also have to operate within some rules. Because it's theft related and not accident related they might have a job totally refusing your claim (although they might try their luck first). See what they say and if it's not favourable get some proper legal advice. Fingers crossed for you mate and sorry this has happened to you

If you have the opportunity to go to the GP then do it for the experience. Like most things in life you really need to experience it for yourself to decide if you like it. I can't see how people get excited about football but there are more than a few people who like it quite a bit.

Hiya folks and thanks for the replies.
Further info...
Fuel pump - i do heat that whirring when i turn ignition to on.
Engine cranking - I’m not getting to that point, but as i mentioned i did bump start her to get home 20 odd miles.
I forgot to say that i ordered a battery charger and charged the battery, but until i check the circuit integrity I’m unable to check that off being the issue. Off to buy a multimeter now.
System warning lights - now these as far as i can tell are hard to read, i have always had an orange light in the centre of the display which seems to come on when i turn the ignition on. As for flashes and such, I’m not entirely sure.
After checking battery i think it’ll be much clearer, fingers crossed!
Thanks again.
Any joy getting you bike sorted mate?

Sportsbikeshop have a fantastic returns system and customer service if you need to try something on you're not sure about. Also do price match too. I'm not affiliated, just a really satisfied customer.

Sidi Adventure 2 for me. Pricey, squeaky, but soooooo good.

Hopefully you'll find that although it might measure at greater than +12v and seem to accept charge it will drop south of 10.8 as soon as you introduce a load. You might have found that for a while the bike started fine when cold but became more of a problem once it was warm. This would be another indicator of battery. Good luck

Good advice from Mississippi Bullfrog . This has got bad battery written all over it. Just had very similar issues on a friend's KLX

Go to a Wimpy and you can have a bender in a bun. I think it's amazing how far we've come with equal rights for burgers. Mmmmmm.....Buuuuuurgers

As a namby pamby fairweather cruiser rider this year I decided it was time to eliminate the winter blues.
Problem solved
Ace bike to do it on mate, I've got one of those
Definately. I've been constantly surprised what it will do off-road considering many of the reviews complain about suspension and power. Are you running standard gearing? I'm thinking of going to 13/42

@Six30........dynax is on a mission this year!
after my crown for sure.... think he needs therapy to be honest
I wouldn't buy a second hand end can from him that's for sure!

This is why I have an old Honda as well as the Triumph. It gets ridden in all weathers. Always comes home covered in mud, a quick hosing down is all it needs.
It has rained more or less constantly since last September. Even when it isn't raining the run off from fields means the roads are filthy. Never seen a winter like it.
A good old winter hack is well worth having.
My brother and brother in law both have Triumph Bobbers. Great bikes
I recognise that Bobber. Is he on the Bobber forum?
Quite possibly. Hopefully he isn't to bobber forums what I was to Harley forums

I bet I still couldn't flat foot it

Wilder amassed that record despite the fact that it was plainly obvious that he couldn't fight going back, and didn't have a strong chin.
Says it all about the standard of Boxing today that it took this long for him to get exposed.
Possibly, but he could only beat who was out in front of him and the ridiculous way boxing is run means you can be a so called Champ and avoid contenders you don't match up well with. It's on the road to becoming the WWE. No offence WWE fans.

If anyone else suffered a head trauma resulting in bleeding from the ear and presented the symptoms of loss of coordination they would go straight to Intensive Care .
I believe the ear was just cut fastbob. I hope the wouldn't have let him go on if he was bleeding from in the ear but who knows...

I know he's a bit of a character but he's really doing it how we all would have done it when we were 10 years old, back when we knew how to have real fun. The Apollo Creed style ring "walks" just make me like him more. I used to think he was a bit of a tool but his appearance on the Joe Rogan Podcast gave me a new found respect for him.
I'm not sure what he has to do to prove himself but he's almost beat Wilder so bad that we've forgotten what Wilder did to everyone else, and that Joshua's team has been keeping him away from Wilder because they expected him to do the same to him.
Joshua has to fight Fury now or else he becomes a joke.
That fights 50/50 to me. But I'd have a cheeky 50p on Fury if there's any takers

@FallingDown Great idea and i have the perfect username " ChineseHarleyRider" it has a great ring to to it and fits well with the song " Paperback Writer"
They would just think you were Chinese and hate you for an entirely different reason I'm afraid.
Probably not worth the effort then, unless i get myself some pink leathers and pretend to be a gay Faux Harley rider
I've got it!
You go on there and post pics saying "This is my Harley Renegade". Act like you think Harley is just a style of bike rather than a brand. The same way I call my vacuum cleaner a Hoover or a hot tub a Jacuzzi. You could even say that you have another bike that you're gonna put apes and a sissy bar on to turn it into a Harley. Please post screenshots here!
