Woah, that's some nice bikes to let learners practice on!
Yep, although the 125 for the CBT was an import and rubbish. I slipped on diesel on that. Think I was too big for it too.
When I first saw the tiger 800 it looked huge. Had a play on there Fazer on my CBT too. Felt like a rocket lol

MotoJitsu and Mcrider on youtube are very good for learners.

The school I used had a tiger 800 lowered and a triumph speed triple 765 new so we were spoilt. I used the 765, very nice.

Hazard perception does catch people out. I thought I was great at it due to spotting loads of potential hazards that may cause me to stop or have to change direction. To find I missed them. I was lucky to use a friend's online dashboard for his driving school pupils (cars but had a bike section). This would show you what the Computer was looking for. Often the risk had a small window of opportunity that you needed to click in. I was clicking just before it and near the end. So I started to click in a uniform manner every 2 seconds once saw a threat. Score shot up. If you click too much it knows, but a steady regular click works. Only did mine last Sept.

This week I reduced the mudguard that covers too much of the rear wheel. And cleaned it, optimistic. On stand by in case anyone needs support and I can use the bike instead if the car

I can see 2 questions the first looks more like a statement that you can't see in your mirrors. The adjustment will depend on the bike.
2nd you position central unless turning right or left, in which case you will need to be in the left or right part of the lane and check over your shoulder before the turn, left turn left shoulder.
3rd, if you feel you're going to fast, you might be. The turn will have slowed you by the time you complete it, 2nd gear is good for slow manoeuvres.
You will benefit from watching some DAS training on youtube. These videos will explain road position etc.
