    Thanks mate.

Would doing 2 years CBT reduce insurance premiums too?

I am tempted to follow your route despite wanting to get straight on something more fun!

Not sure but when I got my big bike after a year on a 125 the insurance was something like £200 for the year albeit it was an old Fazer which I still have 😔

  2. Did it similar age to you, cbt then rode that for a year although partly as Covid prevented any possibility to upgrade.then did my mod 1 and 2 separately and tbh best thing I’ve ever done.have sold my car now and go everywhere on my bike

  3. You won't necessarily fail for stalling as long as you take the precautionary measures start up and move

to be honest the license saga is pretty much killing biking.

Shame they dont do the same for cars, lets see how much that changes applications.

Is it though as a car licence is theory ,  20 odd lessons and test prob takes 6 months

Bike is theory, couple of days learning than mod 1 then 2 probably takes a month

But having a 17 year old and being around kids that age none of them would ever contemplate having an old banger for a car let alone  riding a bike it's just not a thing in the UK imo

  5. To be honest I just ride wherever and sometimes going round a corner when I should be in position 3 I like to go in position one just to see how tight to the kerb I can get !

  6. Is it just me or does it seem odd that they schedule wsbk and MotoGP on the same weekend ie this weekend ? With such a large gap between wsbk races wouldn't it seem more obvious to schedule races where there is no clash to get more bums on seats and TV viewers

  7. My bike was stolen so I reported it but later the same day I recovered it from a local hedge not too much damage to the bike but then when I called them to say it wasn’t stolen anymore they charged me an admin fee for daring to call and then made me up my premiums, promise to lock it in the garage with a Fort Knox type lock and ever since it’s down on my file as made a stolen claim so I pretty much have to stay with them …karnts
