The rubber tubes are there to handle overflows from the tank. They run with fuel if you overfill, and they can do the same when the bike goes over. So no worries on that count. I hope the rest of the bike is ok
Cheers seemed to be ok today looks like I got away with only needing to adjust the brake lever.was a bit embarrassing as I couldn't lift it up needed help from a kind passed by!

I also dropped my bike today 1st time misjudged where I put my foot down and over it went...anyway seemed like fuel was leaking out for a bit from some rubber tubes so was wondering if this is because it was on its side for a few minutes until I could find a passerby to help me lift it up? Have moved the bike back and seems to be fuel leak free now

Hi @Bianco2564, Right 3 bed semi, on British gas, last month £66 electric, so £2.00 roughly a day, that's including the workshop, today been running the lathe etc, and currently this is the reading!!
And yesterday reading all day,
Mind you did go out for breakfast and evening meal .
And we pay for what we use, so no fixed price per month, same as gas, around £27 a month at moment.
The point must be in the wrong place !

They do my head in when I cycled for years to work if I knew there was a car behind me I'd actively move over or even hop on the kerb to allow them to pass

Ever since I fitted my heated grips every so often the clutch side comes loose and moves about.hairspray works but comes loose after a months or so so today just used gorilla glue and hoping that will glue it into place.

Anyone live near to LHR and use a mobile tyre fitter ? The bloke I used before does it for £30 at his garage but it's a headache to get the tyre there with no car !

I used demon tweeks and they were good...ie it got delivered!

Lots of stuff on marketplace but in the end after multiple poor purchases I just bought my own jacket and jeans and boots ! Can’t go wrong with a japenese bike

Surely you have a pocket somewhere? As for the test centre beware of the roundabout immediately you come out of the centre as some people me included can fail within 2 mins
-
Do a CBT then on maybe an ITM course.... but you have the licence so you're good to go
-
You've got an A1 licence already so can ride a 125cc geared bike without L plates , carry a pillion and ride on a mway

Hi all,
please can you help as I can’t seem to find this information myself. I recently passed my a2 and want to do my a1. I’m 39 so does it matter which a1 I take? Also does the £70 cover the bike hire For the test? Booking at colwick(Nottinghamshire).
thanks
Depends where you are but the test fee doesn't include a bike you do that with a school.youll need to do a mod 1 and mod 2 to gain your A2 or a licence and won't get much change out of £800

I'm confused why would you want to take an A1 test if you have an a2 licence as it's not necessary?
First big bike.

Amazingly got a call from the police to say a resident had reported my bike dumped in a hedge not far from me earlier so went down there and wheeled it home ! A bit of wiring damage that some electrical tape has fixed so all seems working ok...a lesson learnt as I've become a bit blase when I get home from work late and going out early to leave it outside my house unlocked as I thought no one would steal a 22 year old bike !
