  1. I went too. Was a really good day. Bit cold but a couple of flasks full of tea sorted that. Ended up walking straight through one of the garages in the morning to the pit lane and stayed there all day
  2. Just registered. Spent up as well! Itching for race season to start!!
  3. I've got this helmet. It cost me £64.99 from Clay Cross Kawasaki. Its actually a good helmet and has a 5* SHARP rating Has a pretty good paintjob on it to, not like the black one in the picture. http://sharp.direct.gov.uk/testsratings/mt-revenge
  4. I doubt it to be honest. They are basically saying, if you take MOD 2 before 19th January you'll get your A licence. If it's on or after the 19th, you'll get whatever the new law states. Regardless if it was cancelled before because of something on their part. The best way is to check the DSA website religiously!
  5. Been confirmed by the man himself. He will be racing for PBM Aprillia in next years MotoGP! Bit unexpected, although it was rumored not too long ago. My guess is he will be near the top of the CRT teams.
  6. Read about this a few days ago. Should make an interesting watch! Wonder how he'll be going from track to road. I've always said the likes of Rossi etc probably couldn't do it, so I guess it's time to finally find out.
  7. Just booked my tickets. Going on the Thursday. Anyone else going then?
  8. Don't know if this has already been posted....... I met this women shes says 'I know you from that vegetarian cafe' 'Oh no' I said. I'd never met herbivore.
  9. You could pass your theory and then go straight to your mod 1 if you wanted to. There's no waiting period that I know of. If you're confident enough book your mod 1 straight after passing your theory. My mod 1 was a couple months after passing my theory but that was only because I did some lessons before booking it. General wait was 3 weeks when booking mod1 here in Nottingham but could be longer or shorter dependent on where you are.
  10. Thanks everyone! Hasn't really hit me yet that I've passed. The ride back from the test centre was awesome I felt like I could relax a little bit more and enjoy it. Going to look at gear tomorrow May be going to BSB at donny on sunday as well, I know that will make me want to ride Looking at doing a bike safe course as well. I had a look to see if there is one in Nottingham but couldn't find one, Going to have a quick google search now but I'm sure Derby do one.
  11. That's exactly what I'm doing. Nothing to stupid like an R1. I really want a 600 sports, so something in that region
  12. Haven't been on here for a few months. Last time I posted I had just passed my theory test. Well today I passed my Module 2! About bloody time as well! I passed my Module 1 first time with 3 minors (Slow speed was a bit iffy ,bollocks to that, and my speed on the swerve and emergency stop were 1 below the standard. No big deal) Second time round I passed module 2. Failed on the first one 3 weeks back because I was turning left at a roundabout to join a dual carriageway and apparently a women who was in the right hand lane of the roundabout signalling to come off wanted the left hand lane of the dual carriageway and i apparently cut forced her into the right hand lane. Never mind, I passed this morning with 1 minor and that was because the examiner thought i stopped a bit to close to the parked car when doing as normal stop. Bike hunting begins!! TL;DR I passed Module 2.
  13. Was sat at Craners for race 2 and what a race! So close! Fantastic day of racing
  14. Thanks everyone! Been waiting along time for this! Lets hope I get through my DAS just as easily
  15. So happy right now! 49 on questions and 49 on hazard perception (a bit too close to the pass mark for my liking on HP but a pass is a pass) Shall be booking my DAS next week
