Nipping to the shops, what do you wear?
Richard replied to hammer5's topic in Clothing, Luggage, Accessories and Security
Look up Voto jeans, I paid £30 for a pair when draggin where £70+. I got knocked off wearing them and it went as follows: Schuberth Helmet ruined Arlen Ness Leather jacket fashionably scuffed Alpen Stars boots badly marked and damaged Two ribs cracked, hip badly brusied. Voto Kevlar jeans un-marked. Can't recommend them highly enough, if I had the hip protection in I am sure that would have helped as well. TnT -

The new "Italian in my life". She is more vicious than anything I have ever ridden, but great fun as well!

The only thing I will say is, I once spent a sunday afternoon with a pair of tweezers and a mirror picking the denim thread out of my ass cheek after I had come off. I would not recommend it to anyone. If you can afford protection, buy it!

I am going on saturday for 5 days, really looking forward, only problem being I don't think my bike will be as comfortable. TnT

That choice red, but they used to do them in yellow. Hot hot hot! -
I had the same but tried at cobblers, bike leather alterations shop and a tack manufacturer to get the zip replaced and I was told that the zip was put in before the boot was formed and was impossible to replace and mintain any integrity of the boot. They were as yours and 13 months old.

Been in Hein geirike today and they are selling Schuberth S1 at 249 quid down from 400. From my personal experience I will say that it is a better helmet than my Suomy R1 or my Shoei XR 1000. Its quieter and more comfortable and great if you like single colour helmets. TnT

Have a look at the Puma range i have a pair, comfy as comfy can be! -
Good chance I will be looking for a ride out this week.

I use Voto jeans which I bought on e-bay. If you watch sometimes they go for best offer I paid £30 for the first pair. I have been knocked of badly once with them on and the integrity of them is still good. But I do think that they are tighter on the legs than normal jeans so be aware! TnT
