I agree it’s small, I have Renthal bars on which de cramp you a bit. As for the lower rev, I understand different bikes for different purposes, I don’t ride at full chat, so it doesn’t worry me. It definitely is not a bike for all people

For those that don’t know Buell basically it’s a modified Harley Davidson engine in a very small ( think 250 size) frame, the petrol tank is the frame and the oil tank is the swing arm. Stunning handling with very a lot of vibration at low rev. I have had many bikes, ( I was on here as TNT many years ago) and it’s a favourite. 95 bhp 50+ to the gallon belt drive oddly comfortable

I have a Garfield tattoo on my upper arm for 20 + years. It was chat up line when my first marriage had split up, I would say I will show you mine if you show me yours, girls used to keen to show their tattoo's. When I had got this far I would then tell them no that's not what I meant. When they looked at me blankly I would tell them he's a pussy. Never worked at that moment but it did get a laugh (sometimes) Hay hum, you look back and think how much more of a twit could I have been!

Hello all, I have been an owner of a Shoei for about 5 years, and was due a new helmet. Prices seem a little steep with the Shoei Qwest at about 319.99 GBP. anyway I found a web site which offered me a Qwest delivered at I think 211 GBP with a pinlock as well. (fromItaly) Anyway long story short I am now the owner of one matt silver Shoei qwest that is everything that was promised for at least 100GBP than I could buy it the UK. The site is really odd as it not a motorcycle site, but all I can say is 100% as promised and delivery took 10 days over xmas(fully tracking etc). http://www.evolvediffusion.com/ TnT

New revolutionary product.

A pointless exercise in my opinion. The nature and cost of the exercise will place it out of the reach of most, and those who most likely could afford it like to ride bikes, and not look at a heads up display on your visor shouting " I'll be Back" in a Austrian accent. -

Just to part close the story I got home about 11;30 at night. The dealers are saying that I should not have ley the AA touch the bike as they are "butchers" I was suprised by the attitude. The interesting thing the AA said was they think its a faulty switch but the dealers have wired the immobilizer into the live for the rear light and not to a seperate fused live. This means that when the faulty brake switch blows the fuse, the power to the immobizer is interupted and it immobilizes the bike. Anyway we will see if I ever get to the truth but needless to say I am pretty pissed off. But Thanks to TC for organising the day, and it was nice to meet the people I did. I would like to say thanks to Jinn and Fozzie for coming back for me not once but at least 4 times as I kept blowing fuses. I think the moral of the day is dont take an Italian bike out in the rain! Silicone around the rubber touching the visor. The rubber dries and flattens allowing ingress. I feel I deserve it for being a tight wad and not replacing my Shoei. When you get a helmet serviced this is what they use. I would just do an internet search for silicon grease, or if you are a cheapskate you could try a little KY jelly, on your helmet I mean maybe around the bit that you move up and down! I mean around the edge of the hole Just buy some silicon grease its less embarssing! TnT

General outline:- Still available to buy at appox 11500 pounds haggle I paid 10,300 new. superseeded by new model which has less power and better manners. Naked version of F4 slightly detuned bhp, and more torque. (Top gear 60-120 mph is 1.5 seconds faster than a R1) 4 cylinder 155 bhp 86ft/lb torque Slipper clutch Positives Its basically astounding. Handling superb The looks again are Marmite! It's an MV Agusta Finish is excellent Negatives Fuel economy is 31 mpg at the best The ride is hard. The bike is named Brutale for a reason. Acceleration and power are raw If you are 6ft tall or above you must test ride it. The leg positions are tight. (adjustable Rearsets are standard on alot of models, check that they are) For me the bike never fails to make me smile. I am going to invest in suspension tuning, I may lose a little of track ability by doing this but as I use it on the road it will hopefully be a little more civilized. I would never recommend this bike to somebody who has not got experience. But to someone who wants a change from a big sports bike, but still wants to run with them try one of these. Richard

I bought a TnT in 2007, the lay out is as follows:- ( £8700 now about 7500) 3 cylinder 1130 cc 135 Bhp approx 150 mph top speed. Positives In my opinion great looking (read as marmite, you either love or loath) Great grunty engine. The triple has the best of all formats You always know where you park it ( nothing else looks like it) Great handling Negatives High service costs Poor fuel economy in high power mode (not that good in low power mode) Poor residual unless you stay with dealership. Over 150 miles in a day was V painful to the backside. Sounded like it was a diesel train. Group 17 insurance The Cafe Racer (9700pounds)was exactly the same engine but looked better it also has a bit of carbon on it. It has clip ons and is more comfortable for longer trips. I toured Normandy France on one. I did approx 9 K miles in three years on the two and truely enjoyed the bikes. I would recommend one to anyone as long as they were aware of the costs.
