  1. Next day for me
  2. No just a little cafe close to that, I had enough chips already that week and begged for a salad.
  3. Yes it was
  4. One fully laden Ducati, that did quite a lot of Wales last week.
  5. I think it depends which one you go for. I have had two the 1078 rr, that always put the fear of god into me, and I have had both a ktm Superduke r which was a well behaved pussycat and am still running a 1200 monster and they are both tame compared to the MV. I have also had the 800 dragster version, which was more predictable and sensible but they still have lots of quirks. They are well made and I had no mechanical issues, but they are a lot more idiosyncratic than most, and I love bikes with character.
  6. I bought some tyres yesterday for the Buell, Pirelli Diablo basically half price £144 for the pair and they even turned up 20 hours after I ordered them. All in all pretty impressive ( M&P were the suppliers)
  7. They weren’t giving me any value for them on the trade in so I kept them, they cost ridiculous money for what they are
  8. Thing is I did have them originally on a triumph bobber, just bought the frame for the Ducati
  9. Put Hepco CBow pannier frame on the Ducati.
  10. Just a short 75 mile after tea ride on a lovely evening
  11. Today I took the Austin racing stubby can off my Ducati, I never thought I could ever say this , but it was just too loud
  12. It maybe an idea to ride in a group a few times, you can then pattern your mind easier than focusing on making all the decisions yourself. a few years ago I got knocked of twice in rapid succession, I only had my bike back 4 days a van reversed on to me at som traffic lights. It affected me badly and my confidence was shot. Riding in groups rebuilt my ability to trust what was right and lines.
  13. It looks like Chaise were only an engine manufacturer, somebody may have restored the bike and looked at the engine block for the bike manufacturer. They were active 1921-39 it seems. Looking at photos it maybe a Dollar, but it’s just a guess
  14. https://www.manchesterbikeshow.com/ I was not aware that this was on , just thought I would highlight it for the others that have missed it
  15. That is big money all of a sudden, I pai 200 quid more for the Buell with less than 6000 miles on it.
  16. To be honest with the bike values increasing it’s cost me very little ( less than 1.5k) which I more than saved by stopping playing darts 3 nights a week. I have lost a couple of friends to covid and I have just thought why not, the money is just stored in a different way.
  17. I have never ridden one, but I very much like the different and not necessarily the best bike out there. It’s important that we are all different otherwise we would have nothing to put photos up about or challenge.
  18. Basically gone daft swapping bikes in the last couple of years, before that had the same Benelli for 9 years
  19. They do handle lovely and the brakes are good for an older bike, my other bike is a 1200 monster which is a better bike, but I actually prefer the Buell
  20. Thank you Sir
  21. Thanks Stuart, I would but I can’t remember how to get in it at all, different email and password. If it could be reset to current I would, sadly I could not see how to with my Luddite capabilities
  22. I agree it’s small, I have Renthal bars on which de cramp you a bit. As for the lower rev, I understand different bikes for different purposes, I don’t ride at full chat, so it doesn’t worry me. It definitely is not a bike for all people
  23. For those that don’t know Buell basically it’s a modified Harley Davidson engine in a very small ( think 250 size) frame, the petrol tank is the frame and the oil tank is the swing arm. Stunning handling with very a lot of vibration at low rev. I have had many bikes, ( I was on here as TNT many years ago) and it’s a favourite. 95 bhp 50+ to the gallon belt drive oddly comfortable
