  3. yes please get that, you tried to get in my tent last year! and for that i am so sorry. I owe you a bevvie
  4. ..and the further for me to try and crawl to find my tent. This year I`m having a tube attached from the pub door to my tent flap. Thinking about this, I did see a tent advertised with illuminous guy ropes.
  5. Judging by the numbers it sounds like we is in for the bestest ever rally. We will be having plenty bevies, ride outs and a sing song, coupled with a damn good meet up with old friends and new. Looking forward to it peeps, see you there
  6. To be honest Terry, looks like the weather`s going to be shite anyway. Think I`ll give it a miss this week.
  7. Can you get over to Cambridgeshire for 10.30 mate. You are more than welcome to join us. Hartford Marina, if you can. Google it for the address.
  8. Good to see you coming along Terry, you`ll know a few of us. As for being a newbie, load of tosh mate, we were all newbies a few years back and I`m sure you can pissed like the rest of us.
  9. we did miss you Mandy, we knew Bob would not be about. Next time.
  10. Yes, I did, and I saw you Pretty poor turn out I thought, but then again someone did happen to mention a certain game was on
  11. I feckin give up. I very rarely get out of the office, I`m sat here doing menial tasks that an office junior would do in other practices. We are at present looking for sites to develop and what do they do when they find a potential one. Take along the planning assistant as opposed to the ARCHITECT who will be designing what goes onto the site. Un-feckin believable. I give up even trying to have a bloody input into this company anymore. The fact I regulary make silk purses out of sows ears and get planning permissions with my designs counts for feck all. They even talk to the clients as if it`s them doing the drawing work such as "I`ll do this..." and "I`ll do that" as opposed to "..our Architect, Neil will....." I have spoken openly to them about this and it seems to have fallen on deaf ears. Bloody pity cus I was happy as a pig in shit when I first started this job. Sorry guys...another work related, feck off rant, thanks for being a sounding block.
  12. Good one guys, nice to see someone else from our region organising ride outs. You`ll have to come over to the West of the area one day during the summer. Huntingdon is our nearest town and we often meet up. ALL bikes welcome, like forest says, its not a race but a ride out.
  13. Thought it would be Bob, bit of a nip in the air, and I don`t mean the Japanese type. COME ON SUMMER. Wet weekend forecast again
  14. I think I`ll pop along. Ruswind..you should have said. We (us locals) could have organised a meet up.
  15. Fully understand the last sentence there Noggin. It does feel great to have a matrees to fall back onto should shite hit the fan for any reason. I do know the bike is coming up for its 28k service which is a BIG one so I`m told. Feck my brain hurts

  17. Holiday is looking good, I`ll check the plane fares
  18. Some of the crap I`ve taken over the last two or three years, believe me, I deserve it. The bike is on 3% so paying off would save some dosh. Australia is looking good but then again I`ve not seen my rellies in 40 years so I only just remember some of my cousins and my Aunt is the only older one left. Both my other two Uncles and other Aunt have since died. Bloody decision making, Id never hang myselfe
  19. Just had a nice little windfall from work (and expecting another one soon) I decided that having had my two piece kit for getting on 4 or 5 years, and having worn it nearly every day of said 4 to 5 years, linings torn, velcro knackered, zips loose and pull apart, I could do with some new stuff. I noted, Lee and Scorpians post regarding Dainese kit and decided to go along to the dealer. Was offered the Lagua Seca on HP at 0% finance over 12 months. I`d have to make the first payment and then wait a couple of weeks before my application was accepted. Decided to pay cash and asked for a 10% discount for doing so which I got. Well, with the shite weather I`ve managed to get out with it about 4 times now. Very, very comfy bit of kit. Stretch panels in all the right places such as inner arms, underarms, waist, crotch and knees make the riding position very easy. Well vented, so when we did have a hot day I was very well cooled. Leather soft and suple so thinking it will be pretty much used to my bod in a short period of time. Protection armour is in all the right places. Fits like a glove, (to an extent) again making it very comfortable with no flapping bits or creasing up at joints. Couple of down sides, the jacket is very short and when zipped to the trousers it does ride up between the legs a bit making me a soprano (I should have zipped it up while trying it on but didn`t) however, while on the bike this is fine. Zips seem a bit lightweight. For my very often usage I`m wondering how long they will last. All in all, pretty chuffed. No more kit buying for the next 5 years. Concentrate on new/second bike from now on. [ispeed tripe, speed triple, speed triple ][/i]
  20. FFS do not do up your bike in "pants". Firstly, you may get very badly sunburnt legs, Secondly, not recomended if welding or doing other work near hot stuff. Thirdly, the very thought I would however suggest some good sturdy trousers or jeans.
  21. I`ve just had a nice little bonus from work and I`m expecting another fairly shortly in the 4 figures. Really racking my brain what to do with regards spending it or not as the case may be. My fellow forum members opinions most welcome.
  22. Dave, with my sense of direction, I`d having trouble fininding it sitting in the lay-by at the entrance.
  23. Missed it too folks, and I was out on the bike yesterday morning. Reminder to self, GET COMPUTER AT HOME. Sounds like you had a good day out
