  3. I know this must have been asked many times but has any one ever brought waterproofs that don`t leak at the croch. I am now sitting here with wet shreddies and it ain`t nice. I have the Richa ones. Am going to the BMF in a few weeks time so if I have some pointers I`ll look out for them. Ta

  6. Sorry Bob, didn`t make it this week. Bit sick of getting wet and having to dry kit off so even though it turned out pretty dry, I thought I`d wait while the real nice weather gets here. Hopefully soon be getting some rides out....Sunny Hunny maybe.

  8. Much as I enjoy dossing down in a tent once in a while, I think with the bed being only 18 miles away I`ll just meet up with you peeps on one of the days
  9. Wait until the better weather kicks in mate and take a ride over. Come the Abbotts Ripton way for a good road ride. We`re a friendly bunch
  10. As said above, if textiles you have are OK then stick with them. Some leathers have perforated panels to allow a bit of air flow, so in warm to hot weather this is a great coolant when riding. Check out RST gear, they are reasonably priced and good kit. I personally prefer leather, as I was told, when setting out on my biking adveture, that it gave better abrassion resistance. This coming from my cousin who`d had an off and suffered some pretty bad road rash. I do have a textile jacket (Richa Rix-2) but to be honest, it`s crap at keeping out the rain.
  11. You lucky sods, looks great. Just wish I had the balls to do those long runs you said you`d be doing. I`ll do it one day though...I hope. Glad you had a great time
  12. Cheers Susie, I`ll beare that in mind. Crap weather here though for the next few days so I`m going straight home from work.

  15. FFS mate, not good to read. Obviously don`t know the bloke but my heartfelt feelings go to him and his young family. I`ve seen what cancer does. I`m damn sure it will be hard, but try and keep a smile on when you visit him and his wife.
