  1. f**k IT, ordered a new bed on Monday from Argos, delivered this morning at 7.15am. Just looked on site and thier sale starts today and it`s £60 cheaper.
  2. You should have asked for the 750, you off all day then ???? lucky git
  3. Put this up on another thread, but this is by far the best wicking suit I`ve tried. I`ve had it through last summer and winter and it`s still going strong. Great at taking away sweat from the body (as proven last weekend) and a good warm layer in winter. For £60-£70 I think it`s well worth it. Don`t know you`ve got it on and stops your leathers sticking. Another good point is that it has thumb and foot loops to stop it riding up when you put yopur trousers and jacket on. Revit Excellorator
  4. I had a dominos match to support How`s that for an excuse Bob
  5. Some good pics there Gary, glad you enjoyed the trip
  6. Have a feeling Jayne it may be a bit deserted tonight.
  7. Ahhh, I see...no I dont. I`ll follow the leader, that way I`m know I`m on the right road.
  8. A few brands of reasonably priced leathers. RST, Richa, BKS. These are the ones of used so I can`t really advise on any others. Helmet wise you could go for HGV.
  9. Bugger, can`t open it Mark. Windows says it does not recognise the file type. No worries though mate, I`m sure it`ll be a great trip. Looking forward to it.
  10. Let me know how you get on putting the lining back in, it`s a hellish job.
  11. I asked this same question about 5 years ago when I started riding, from biker friends and another forum. Basically my response was, leather is better for abrasion resistance in case you go sliding down the road. Textile was possibly cooler in hot weather. I opted for leather and I`ve found that with a good "wicking" base layer, even on hot days I can still feel reasonably comfortable, and mentally feel safer. At the end of the day, entirely up to you.
  12. Yep, great day out guys, got home just in time for a couple of beers at the local.
  13. Hi peeps, not clear what to do or where to meet and as I go off line in about 30mins. How about meeting at mine, say 10.30am and taking it from there. If anyone want to change these plans, feel free but text me on 07872130330. Would be good if we could all meet up, ride out, pub lunch or summat. Cheers Neil
  14. Good stuff Sue PM me your number again, I mucked up my phone some time ago and lost me numbers. As you know, I`m off air from 4.00pm today so if details of where and at what time are not sorted by then I`ll text you. Rally Yayyyyy. So far:- Me Darren Aaron Susielew
  15. Whoooohoooo, although might be a bit hot but I`m certainly not complaining. Well vented leathers I think. Yep, typical Ash, never mind mate, summers still young yet. I`ll post something up by 4.00pm although I`m open to suggestions. In other words someone else think of a place. Possiblity of a ride being organised by a group I went with a few weeks ago so I`ll see whats happening with that and if it comes off.
  16. I would do susie but I find music distracting when I`m trying to work. I love music outside of work though, my album/tape/cd collection will vouch for that Plus I`m getting older and a candidate for the "grouchy old men" programmes they come out with now. Only joking
  17. AAAAAArRRRGGGGG, Ive got those bloody violins again. The boss put them on at 8.45am, they`re still going and are likely to until I leave at 4.00pm. Drives me nuts but what can I say. No break for words like a radio station just constant fecking whining. It all sounds the bloody same
  18. will bear that in mind Darren.
  19. BBC weather forecast saying 25deg. for Sunday. Anyone about for a ride out ???? Time, meeting place and destination to be agreed.
  20. If it`s raining, I`ll give it a miss. Should be OK though according to BBC, but then again they are crap at predicting the weather so I`ll wait and see nearer the time.
  21. Yep, I`ll be there, you going straight over Dave or call in at mine on the way ???
  22. To true Alan, that way, on a Friday night, they walk home by themselves saving me rucksack space
  23. Pair of trousers/jeans taken to work on monday and left there ready to change into. Clean shirt every day taken in my rucksack. You`d melt with a suit and leathers on in this weather (hot).
  24. So do I susie, he`s had one big load of kemo and I`m not sure if he can have any more so soon. They did mention last time about having to operate and that may mean his voice box. Fingers and every other bit that can be is crossed for him. Bloody cancer, taken most of my mums family and I`m sick of seeing what it does to people.
  25. Big Fuc* it. Found out my mates throat cancer has returned. 2 years younger than me and having to go through this shite. He was told he was clear a couple of months ago, or as they say in remission.
