  1. Ow do Martin, long time no hear. And up yours, , I`m up for giving it a bash.
  2. unless you`re Lady Penelopy, absolutely everthing.
  3. Cheers guys for the many responses. No Matt, I`m not offended, I liked the comments and I do agree, Black is a fantastic colour. If I`d match my hair colour guys,.......come on who wants a pink bike I`ve got the blue one as a screen saver and I`m warming to it, however my love of all things BLACK is still strong. Had the dealer ring me up last night and a good deal has been struck. Need to get over there at the weekend to finalise details and would have loved to take for another ride out but weather going to feck that idea up.
  4. Gonna have to practice a bit more Matt at that raping it silly. Still when i took it out for a demo it seemed to want to corner easier than my bandit. I may be talking shite but we`ll see.
  5. Anyone had any of these, BKS 001 "Silverstone" one piece. I just brought myselfe a Christmas prezzy in the sales and got a good deal on these in readyness for the new bike in March. May have an old set going for nowt if anyone is interested.
  6. OK people, I have to think about placing my order for the new 750 gixer in March (apparently they are not going to import as many as thye did last year, according to local dealer) Now do I go for the complete black or the new dark blue, black and white. I love both and I`ve had two black bikes now so may think about a change. Coments and views welcome. Admin, any chance of a poll thingy ???? pretty please
  7. Yep and from me too. Looking forward to the marina meets and a load more ride outs this year.
  8. Anyone wanting a ride out between the two big days send me a text. (weather of course permitting, don`t do ice) My number is in the contacts section. I`m off now till 5th Jan so Bye all and have a great time over the holiday period.
  9. Well done pal, great to read some good news
  10. Sorry Mikey, can`t make it now
  11. Yep sure do, however I went to look for them the other morning and one has gone missing. Seriously if you don`t mind looking a complete twat, they are good. They keep the cold air of all of your hands and you can get in and out quick. (read into that comment what you want )
  12. Send em back and ask for a refund of the postage costs.
  13. Try Oxford Chill Out stuff. This will be my second winter with them and the`re great. Bit pricey but you pay for good stuff.
  14. So you started racing at 6 then Marc.
  15. Didn`t know anyone bothered now to go. ??
  16. I too have a bandit and I use the Bridgestones 021. I`ve done some serious milage on them as well, previous lot lasted getting on for 8k. They were on the limit when i changed them though. Price wise...about £220 (front and back) fitted and cost of getting rid of old ones.
  17. I`ll try and get there if I`m not playing dominos
  18. Commute to work in all weathers, as long as you`ve got waterproofs then you shopuld stay dry. No problem.
  19. No particular brand, however I have cheap over trousers and an alpinestar top. Not too bad however the top is a sod to get on. No front zip, just pull over your head and with leather jacket on this is difficult.
  20. Off work in an hour so if anyone decides after then, text us. Have a good weekend whatever folks
  21. So what happens if you fail (which I doubt you will) do you do it again at more cost with more lessons ???
  22. Enjoy Oxford Dave, this test seems a bit long winded, you been doing it for ages now ???
  23. Weather looking OK and temp at 13deg, so who`s up for a little bimble. I can only do till about 12.00 noon though as I`m at church at 1.00pm (and NO the church is not the pub, and I`m not going all religeous). Could meet at the marina at say 10.00am and I`ll peel off when I need to get home.
  24. Get an all in one waterproof suit. I think you can pick them up from around £45 ish. Just make sure your protection gear is underneath and not just jeans and a crappy shirt.
