  2. Remember everyone this is for 2010 You still have waaay over a year to save.
  3. Hi Josh I am currently working on a load of meeting points. Basically you will have to just get fairly close such as Matlock, Mcdonalds on A38, Cat & Fiddle, Ikea in Nottingham and a couple of others which are all really easy to find where someone who knows the route in will meet you there. After that it will just be a matter of following the person in. Should be posting something up in a couple of weeks to show meeting points. TBH mate you will be able to easily get within a mile of the place... It's that last mile though that's a total sod!!!
  4. Was for me mate... First couple of times I wore it I was a little unsure, but after a while it's just like the back protector. Don't even notice it's there.
  5. Just plastic sliders, but titanium are available... May be treating myself to some.
  6. Might be worth a look at this Ant. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=21433

(Please ignore my chavvy tracksuit bottoms... They are comfy and never worn outdoors...) http://i524.photobucket.com/albums/cc324/bikerkorben/New%20boots/TCXBoots004.jpg Great idea is the zip which has a velcro piece on it... My old ones, the zip used to hang out of the velcro straps. http://i524.photobucket.com/albums/cc324/bikerkorben/New%20boots/TCXBoots006.jpg http://i524.photobucket.com/albums/cc324/bikerkorben/New%20boots/TCXBoots007.jpg http://i524.photobucket.com/albums/cc324/bikerkorben/New%20boots/TCXBoots009.jpg http://i524.photobucket.com/albums/cc324/bikerkorben/New%20boots/TCXBoots010.jpg http://i524.photobucket.com/albums/cc324/bikerkorben/New%20boots/TCXBoots011.jpg http://i524.photobucket.com/albums/cc324/bikerkorben/New%20boots/TCXBoots012.jpg Anyone any ideas why this bit comes off? http://i524.photobucket.com/albums/cc324/bikerkorben/New%20boots/TCXBoots013.jpg http://i524.photobucket.com/albums/cc324/bikerkorben/New%20boots/TCXBoots015.jpg http://i524.photobucket.com/albums/cc324/bikerkorben/New%20boots/TCXBoots018.jpg
  8. Really sorry to here Jive. I thoughts are with all friends and family.
  9. Ant, I have one of these... http://www.i-gotu.com/ I don't think it's as accurate as the one Mikey uses, but it does the job.... Plus, I am fairly new to it, so I might have my settings wrong. You can pick one of these up from Maplins for about £40
  10. Drop into newbies mate, and introduce yourself!!
  11. Here ya go Sheepy. viewtopic.php?f=11&t=20040
  12. Fair enough mate... TBH it sounds like you have a sensible head on your shoulders mate, so I am sure your decision will be the correct one!!
  13. Will probably be turning up with Akey and Willow, although looking at the weather I doubt I will be unless it changes alot!!
  14. New boots can sometimes be a bit stiff. I struggled when I first got mine, but they are ok now... Drop into the newbie section and introduce yourself mate!!
  15. Might try and get there mate if the weather is good. Got BMF on Saturday, but free Sunday.
  16. Go for it mate... First time I rode bike was on the 16th June 2007 when I did my CBT. On the 17th June I started 3 and a half days of DAS training, before passing my test. You have plenty of experience!!
  17. Sounds good Scrapi... Go and park up and chat to bikers.... 99.9% are decent people who will be happy to enjoy a coffee and talk bikes with you mate. It's the way we are!! Might well be down across in Wales in a couple of weeks (First week in June), so if I am I will let you know. Anyone around there though, organise a meetup with him!!
  18. Josh is correct, both can be purchased if your jacket has an appropriate pocket for them. I would highly recommend you buy a seperate one that straps to your body with shoulder straps and a waist strap. In the event of an accident these will not move around as much and will provide you with better protection. Just make sure that if you intend to buy one that it fits under your jacket!! Would be a downer to buy one then realise you can't zip up!!
  19. I bet he ain't... He's a piss taker!!!
  20. Staying in one place. As I wanted it to be not only a biking holiday, but also a family holiday as much as possible, I thought it would be easier. Here is the place we are looking at staying at. http://www.lochtay-vacations.co.uk/index.htm Loads of stuff for everyone... Even us bikers if it does nothing but rain all week.
  21. Very True Chris!! Moved!!
  22. No it should not be used again. It's damaged. Cut the straps off and never use it again. For a visor, try http://www.racevisors.co.uk/ Good site. Might have what you need.
  23. Yeah. I am gonna aim for about £600 in total just to be on the safe side.
  24. so whats stupid about that diagnosis as its the most likely That's not an insult mate. That's a smilie showing he agree's with you... We have it on as it's funny.
