Hi all, I'm just wondering if its possible to fit a fuel gauge to a bike that doesn't have, I seen some for sale on e-bay but didn't know that you could do that
-
one of the carbs was blocked, get the bike back Tuesday with a new M.O.T and full service, thanks for all the advice guys

yep throttle was responding normal yesterday when I was out on it, had it out for over an hour. Had the choke on for 10mins to warm engine up and it didn't sound right then, when I turned the choke off it ideled for a min or two then cut out, turned it on again with choke rode it down drive and off I went but it was juddering like it was running out of petrol and it didn't feel safe to ride so came back. I've checked the oil level since and it's fine, was starting to think along the same lines as it could be something to do with the fuel line or along those lines, I was knocked off the bike couple off weeks ago and the bike was fine afterwards, I'll leave the bike till the morning and try it then maybe she's in a mood

Hi all, got on the bike this morning let her warm up, and she was juddering got to the junction and she cut out, started her up and again still juddering so turned around and went home. I had an oil leak about 3 weeks ago which I got sorted out I checked the oil level and its not quite max-min markings, I'm going to get some oil when the wife comes home with the car and top it up to see if that helps. The engine oil light did come on but then went off I know I sound stupid but does anyone else think the same as me and it just needs a drink of oil! I'm getting her serviced next week before the M.O.T so the air cooled system will get a clean just incase it could be that, unfortunately I'm not a very hands on type of guy when it comes to engines and things as I very dumb in that department, any help would be gratefully recieved. The bike is a Yamaha xj600n 1997. Thanks guys and gals

Hi all noticed this morning that my front right indicator isn't working and the back one is flashing really fast, the left ones are fine. I checked the front one and the bulb is fine any ideas?

Passed my DAS two weeks ago and I've just bought a xj600n picking it up Monday, went for because the running costs are so low and for a first big bike didn't want anything that was going to rip my arms off and scare me. So I looked at lots of reviews and this one was the best option for me

Passed my mod 1 this morning at Kirkham in Lancashire got no faults, still grinning sorting out mod 2 tomorrow. If you just do like you have in your training your fine. I was nervous this morning but once you get on the course and get started you start to enjoy, got 51kph for both emergency stop and swerve bit.

Hi all I'm new to the forum and ride a Honda cg125cc,going for my test soon. I recently bought a new pair of motorbike boots and they are the first I've ever owned really comfortable. The problem is I'm having problems changing gears in them is this normal! Is it just a case of wearing them around the house to break them in? Any advice would be great Thanks
