The headers i have in mind are after market and are also 4 into 1. My main concern was the pipe diameter at the headers and wether it would be compatible in that sense. Thankyou for the input nevertheless

Hi all, I am in need of new headers for my bandit 600 01 and have found a rather good deal on some however they are for a GXSR.. Does anybody know if GXSR headers are compatible with a GSF600 engine? Many Thanks!

Okay so received new solenoid and all was well throughout the weekend would start first time on the button, however today i am back to square one and solenoid is clicking once again. I am lost to what this could be. Any ideas?

I will be doing that first thing tomorrow. Im assuming it’s just the 4 contact points that should be of concern? Battery Positive Solenoid Positive/Negative Starter Motor

Hi all, Been having some issues with the bandit and getting her to turn over.. I have a single click coming from the solenoid but that’s all.. 1/100 tries it will manage to turn over but it’s very rare. So this is what I have tried, Brand new starter motor New solenoid (now being shipped) New battery All connections seem good however I decided to short the two terminals on the solenoid and it turned over and started so took the solenoid apart cleaned it with some contact cleaner put it back together and nothing had changed. since putting back together I can’t even manage to short the solenoid now which I thought was very odd. Has anyone got and ideas? Many thanks in advance.

Hello all, Very strange issue occurring with my 2001 GSF600. While on a ride my headlights stopped working completely other than the pass button. Checked the wiring with multimeter to find that hi beam low beam are both getting power all the way up to the female 3 pin coming from the loom. So plugged the bulb straight into the 3 pin and exact same thing is happening ( no headlights other than pass button working ) While testing the headlight I came to realise I now have no brake lights either, running light and number plate light both working as standard however neither foot brake or front brake trigger the brake lights to illuminate. I am completely stumped to what this could be as all sockets are getting correct voltage and the fact the high beams work with the pass button and not the low beam high beam switch is beyond me. Can anyone send me in the right direction. many thanks.

Hello all, Over the last month I have had issues with starting my bandit with the electrical start. (Bumps perfectly fine + runs with no issues) The problems first started with a loud single click from what seemed to be the starter or solenoid however I purchased a new battery and that fixed that issue for around 2 weeks. However today I have gone to start the bike and have been met with what can only be described as a drill like noise coming from the starter itself. (video link attached below). As you can tell from the video I managed to get the bike to crank and start once but since that I cannot get it to budge and will only turn over with a bump.. I am completely lost to what this could be. Thanks in advance for the help. Video:
