  1. They don't fill up because as the water goes in the top, it leaks out of the bottom just as fast. Have a closer look at one next time it rains. A bit like drinking beer then The thing about leather, it offers the best protection if you end up sliding on your bum, but not the best protection against water, good to wear in summer though
  2. Yes you did, Have to clean my glasses
  3. That looks good rick, Is that a large or small box Pic shows rear indicators moved,, spos that if panniers are fitted
  4. You didn't say what bike, If you talk top box, it would have to be the large one,, Don't think tank bag or ruck sack, would be ideal for what you discribe,, hard panniers would be the best option, but would be around the £300 quid mark,, If your lucky enough to have a Bonnie, then triumph do what they call office panniers
  5. I bought a Triumph fabric jacket a while ago, this had the zip complete on the jacket, the bit for the trousers I took to a tailor to remove the old zip from the trousers & fit the half supplied with the jacket,,, Cost a tenner
  6. I wear flip front helmets, a lot easier to put glasses on, got a Nolan & a Shoei, think the Nolans best, you can remove all the linning & padding for going through the washer

  11. Have a look at the road surface you ride on,, some roads have ridges & ripples in the direction of travel, these can cause the bars to twitch, same with the edge of the white lines, it becomes more noticable as tyres wear,,, Find a nice bit of smooth road & see if it's still there

    Tyre Life

I had BT 020's on the new kwak I bought,, They were 40 miles short of 10,000 beforeI had to change them,, I was quite chuffed, could be I'm not as heavy on the throttle & brake,, bit less power & a bit less brake does a lot for tyre milage,, before you ask, no I don't hang around,
  20. Not a lot of help I know, But the first earth point is inside the lamp body usually a spade connector on the side of bulb holder,,, I would check that first, also that there's power at the live cable,,,After that,, like you,, Cry for help
  21. Jackets, Boots & Gloves, a bit different to what's usually on offer,, Some items are not cheap, but look good Google, silvermans, (mile end road) Couple of jackets I'd like to try on
  22. Silly S*d, It won't fit the bike, Now will it
  23. Givi & kappa ore one in the same there are two types of plate, one with the slotes like yours to fit the small box The other plate has two moulded hook at the fwd end for fitting the larger box I think yours will be for Kappa K35 box,, but check, top box & plate are usually supplied as one,, Tell your dealer you only want the box & get 8 quid of the price,, I did seeing as you put your location as UK, no one can tell you the best places to go,, If you lived by Chester then you have a dealer on your doorstep
  24. All being well Sue & myself will be there, probably Sun
  25. looks like it will be trial & error sorting it out, OK if you've got time to spare,, I think the dealer might be the quick fix & has probabley come across it before
