  5. Sounds good All being well
  6. So who & wot day
  7. There used to be a bike breaker in rivulet road wrexham round the back of the beast market car park, you know the one, the old asda car park,, go round the corner where the toilets used to be,, down the dip & turn left,, toilets might still be there, don't know, not been to wxm for yrs,, could be a good chance, you'll get one there
  8. Roadtorque

    Drain Plug

getting the engine hot might help, might loosen things up with a bit of heat
  9. There by hangs another tale,, finding a pair of gloves that will fit inside the the cuffs of a jacket,, it's not easy, summer gloves OK, but winter gloves it's almost impossible,, the thing with gloves, they don't seem to be made to do either
  10. So there you go, Leather or Textile, at the end of the day,,, It's All Down To You & what suits your needs
  11. Check the one in the jacket & if need be fit a better one,, but protection in most jackets in the upper price range is good
  12. It's all about the weather,,,, leather's good for for summer & dry riding & can cope with rain up to a point,,, Textile is better for all round weather protection & is warmer in winter,,, All have inbuilt protection & like eveything else, quality comes at a price,,, Sorry, NO, not all have protection, but it's easy to sort out the rubbish
  13. I've wondered about this stuff for a while & can't make my mind up if it's good or bad, that green goo stuff goes in the tyre & stays as goo,, my thoughts are, that bike parked overnight, all this stuff settles at the bottom of the tyre & must affect balance when you first when you jump on for next ride,,,,, the other system that blows up and seals the tyre in one go,, well I wouldn't hold my breath,, although I must admit I bought one, (reduced in tesco) with trip round Scotland planed & some of the roads we would be going on, thought it might be worth a try & if it works all well & good, but as I say, I wouldn't hold my breath,, one thing's for certain,, you ain't going to be Mr popular when you take your tyre to be changed
  14. Only the socks are decent! The rest of their kit sucks like a prostitute with a hare lip . . . . very badly! Tell me more,, I know all about Strait Street Malta, but never found the above,, So do tell
  15. To all that live local or call in at Sam's Cafe, A&D Motorcycles Denbigh N,Wales Call in at the army surpluse place, higher up the hill, a lot of what they sell is used but good quality, at the moment they have, long thick socks, just the job for inside biker boots, I just bought 2 pairs £2 : 50,, Now That's A Bargain as most of you will know, stuff used by the forces is best quality gear
  16. Take them off when you go for a pee
  17. Roadtorque

  18. Roadtorque

    Reserve tank

Think most bikes are good for about 25/30 Consumption depends on how you ride if your on reserve then slow & steady will get you the extra miles
  19. I've got those,,,,,,,,,, ,,,,,,,,Cracking Gloves
  20. That's one bad thing about Shoei, don't know if they're all the same, but the lining in my mutitec is glued in £300+ & you can't wash the lining
  21. Could just be down to riding position
  22. tinted windows on cars have to let 75% of the light through although this states side window, so I assume visors & windscreens remain clear
  23. Sorry can't do this, will be traveling down to the lads, prior to jumping a flight at heathrow on the first,,
  24. Buqqer,,, will be at 37,000ft heading for columbo,,, I'm so disappointed,,, no, honest,, I am I hear last years was good,, enjoy
