  1. Anyone related to Guy Fawkes and want to finish what he started

The modern way is small fire bombs dropped from a drone. Easy to torch old buildings like that with the fire up high where it's difficult to reach/control.

  2. You can ask the manufacturer for a ask for a certificate of conformance (Honda will send you one in the post free of charge- not sure about other manufacturers)

Hi I went in to a Honda dealer and asked. I'll seenifni can contact Honda its self and see . The cost of the test is £175.00 and its the only place that TFL will listen to .. so if Like to know how my £175.00 is going to help the clean air bull .as the money will be paid to a private garage .. is the garage going to send the money to cleaner air environmental nut jobs NO didn't think so ...

Do some digging and you'll find Khan or one of his currupt staff members have links to the garage that's doing the testing...

  3. This is another VW emissions scandal waiting to happen.

I reckon any bike could be tuned to pass the emissions test. It won't be very nice to ride, but so long as it's passes the test that's all the matters.

So setup the bike/carbs just for the test, deliver it to the test center in a van, pass the test, van it home, re-tune to make it rideable.

Two fingers up to khan and his idiotic tax on motorbikes.

  4. if its got an OBD2 port then buy a cheap OBD2 code reader and see what readings you get.

lots of smoke and no power suggests too much fuel or not enough air so reading the boost pressure from the OBD2 port should allow you to identify/eliminate low boost pressure due to split hose etc.

  5. I have never seen any evidence, either way, as to the effectiveness of Datatag. In all my years in the police, I never heard of it being used to recover a stolen vehicle. I do have it though, since it helps with insurance.

Trouble is it's very hard to measure how many crimes are not committed due to a security feature.

Back in the day when police bothered to investigate bike theft I would think the prospect of having to remove every single little Datatag micro dot from your entire stash of stolen bike parts would have been a bit of a deterrent for the small time criminals. The police would only need to find one of the dots somewhere in your stollen parts collection to prove a link to a stollen bike.

These days you're lucky if the police even bother to investigate bike thefts so the chance of bike thieves being raided and having the datatags discovered is far lower than it used to be.

  6. The guys is blatently holding the front brake to make the wheel spin less.

Then he shows how to grind away half your brake pads with a grinder to reduce drag.

Then he shows the wheel spins far more freely with half the brake pads missing.. with his hand nowhere near the brake lever and the front axle not even tightened up yet.

Clearly he's a fraud and the sweary bloke just drags it out to frustrate even more.

  7. What's sort of cheap arse, tin-pot, cowboy garage sells a bike with just three months MOT??

    6months is usually the minimum.

But the garage screwed up. The sales receipt proves you paid for a bike with 12months MOT and that's not what you received.

As I said before, give them one more chance to admit they were wrong and compensate you somehow before hitting them with a small claims court case for the full purchase price of the bike as you still haven't received the item you paid for - a bike with 12months MOT.

Easy to start a small claims case, can all be done online and doesn't cost much.

  8. if the sale was supposed to include 12months MOT and it didn't then you have been mis-sold the bike.

And if the dealer is trying to say that's your fault that they didn't fulfil their contractual obligation to provide 12months MOT, then give them one more chance to compensate you before going down the small claims route for the full purchase price of the bike.

  9. If there is a chance the chain could snap, don't ride it. A snapped chain makes a real mess of a bike and can easily lock the rear wheel (mid corner) sending you sliding into incoming traffic..

Stretched chains are actually a myth. Yes they get longer but nothing stretches.

Measure rear wheel alignment from the swing arm pivot.

Easy enough to knock up a bit of wood with a bolt in one end for the swing arm pivot and marks the other end for the axle bolt.
