Guest Posted October 5, 2009 Posted October 5, 2009 me well had one 20 years ago and then girlfriend, married, kids etc.!!!! also now it's easier for work and i can escape the madhouse more easily. plus loads of medical problems and thought what the hell i loved it all those years ago why not enjoy now!! saying all this i have to pass my cbt on friday!!oz If you had a bike 20 years ago you'll have no bother with your CBT. It's ride round a cone here, do a u turn there, do an emergency stop over there, and ride round town without causing a pile up. Quote

Guest akey Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 ALways wanted a bike from the age of about 12 I suppose. Reached 17 bought an old DT125LC insured it and rode it. Finally did both parts of my test and got a bigger bike. Only reason I did my car test was after I married Willow and she was pregnent with our first (apparently baby in tank bag is not good). Now use the bike as everyday transport as well as fun (so pretty much the same as the good old days when I had no car). Sheep_onna_Bandit Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Grew up with bikes as my Dad was racing until I was about 6, so always had various bikes in various states of disassemblage in the garage from very young. It's in my blood I guess.Plus the 26 mile commute into Shottingham, ooops, Snotingaham, ooops again, Nottingham from near Burton would take me about nine hours in the car, each way.
