I been to the Elan valley for a day trip in 2006 it was pissing down made a weekend of it this year and stayed in a B&B in Rhayader,copped for a great weekend weather wise this time,the views and the ride through the valley was absolutely awesome must stress it's best done in dry weather as cloud level spoils the views if its raining,but the best bit is the Reservoirs over flowing in the winter
