quality day, good to seen rennie and sue, wiggy and 5thwildhog (he was there before me, the crazy man)

was very damp and slippy to start with, had a little slide coming out of hizzys having a bit of a tussle with a lap on an r6, stayed upright and calmed down a little bit that session.

dry in the afternoon, lap times were coming down. in the morning i was doing around the 1.10 mark which is the same as a mate of mine in the fast group so it looks like i will be making the move up in the near future

5th got shouted at for timing me , not being big headed but there were only 2 guys all day that i had a good tussle with everyone else was left for dead was even lapping a few people. the best tussle was with a guy off TDR forum who rode a vtr1000, bast*rd outbraked me into hizzys then i outbraked him and another guy into lodge only for him to outbrake me into hizzys again....was a great laugh.

got some videos, the memory cards played up a little so i only really got 3 sessions on cam i think will get them sorted for friday when im back out....

to finish with......oooooooohhhhhhhh yyyyyeeeeeaaaaaaahhhhhhh it fooking good to be back on track

roll on the 5 more i have booked, and a few more will poss be getting booked after pay day, but in the advanced group not inters.

Enjoyed the day Phil - even though it was a tad chilly!!! Certainly blew the cobwebs away!!

Went through snow on the way back so glad to hear it held away from Oulton!!

Had a great day, good to meet some 'faces' at last.

Arrived during a Fast session and have to admit thought 'sh*t...no way I could do this!!! '

But have to say the Novice seemed kinda do-able........

Phil did really well and I'm sorry to say Phil but my future as Track Photographer looks unlikely....lots of blurs n some ok ones of complete strangers

More determined to have a go at this now than ever!!!

nice one phil excellent DV top quality really impressive riding mate had a really good day. Please thank your mum dad and rosie for making me feel welcome and apart of everything it was really natural they are top people

it was great to meet Ian and sue again oh and not to forget wiggleit all made the day enjoyable that and the top bunch of guys in the pits will come again i think i will bring a chair next time though cheers again

i dont remember looking behind other than the last session when i went round with chicky of tdr. but iv got the camera on so its not then. im thinking it was the first session during sight laps and i was just giving the marshall a good look

felt like i was out in novice most of the time, deff after friday im moving up to advanced group....well after the cadwell days anyway.

Did you get your track bike in between those 2 track days or did you just do a few other track days in between or something?

the first one was on my sv650 and the latter being on the gsxr600, its an fooking animal compared to the SV. makes a huge difference as im not struggling on the straights like the sv was...

you will see first hand on the 13th when i lap you
