Just a shame it took so damn long to get here, been without ID for a month lol.Unfortunately I'm only 19 and had to take the restricted test, so my new license says Cat A, from 08-12-09 to 03-03-60 =<25KW. What is bit annoying though is when restriction is up, will it be possible to get it re-issued with no 25KW code on it? As for me might be bit of a pain to explain if try hire a bike abroad. ricky_v Posted January 13, 2010 Share Posted January 13, 2010 Cat A, from 08-12-09 to 03-03-60 =<25KW. congrats, your licenced to produce electricity! you have to pay £20 to get the restriction code removed, personally i wouldnt bother if your only riding a big bike within the UK as the police should know thats theres a 2 year limit on it, but if your riding in another EU country then i would personally fork out the money to get it removed as trying to explain that the restriction only lasts for 2 years to a spanish policeman is probably a mamoth task!
