BoB3rt Posted March 21, 2010 Posted March 21, 2010 Just done a practise run of the test this morning for DAS... (st helens - north west).was a little worried with clutch control on figure of 8, but simply didnt use the throtle and it was a breeze Came to the 'dreaded' swerve manouver and it only took 3 goes to get up to speed (50k or 32Mph in real money), there was no problems with the actul manouver itself... same with Emergancy stop.so overall fairly confident for wednesday (real test), as its a breeze!lil advice would be apparently not all learning schools take you to a test centre... i would go with one that does as i feel so much more confident now.Peace ! GarethNW Posted March 23, 2010 Posted March 23, 2010 Good luck with the test m8,I ride around St Helens every day m8 for work. Another biker in the area Quote
Danny-B- Posted March 24, 2010 Posted March 24, 2010 I recently passed the MOD1 (After failing it the first time on the swerve)I Have to agree though ... you deffo need a practice run at it before hand, makes life so much easier.I was soooo nervous the first time i did the MOD1 im not suprised i failed, so doing a couple of practice runs at it certainly makes it alot more managable. The main thing i'd say is, take your time ! you can do each manouver in your own time, dont feel pressured to rush things.
