  1. lol I think thats rather inconvenient for 90% of people and maybe a little extreme.
  2. Well mod 2 is riding around a town/city/rural place. The instructor is just looking for a clean, safe ride. I found that my examiner wasn't too strict, most probably because he has to concentrate on his own riding too and unlike a car examiner, he doesn't have a pad to write on all the time, he has to remember it all, so there is a chance he'll forget something Best of luck!
  3. Can you trade in any gear or is it just dainese gear? I know agv are doing the same thing too.
  4. I want to go there to take some photos sometime and the isle of skye is just above it if i'm correct? or totally wrong lol, bet you got some nice roads on your island!
  5. Well done mate! unlucky for the other guy coming off. Thats along way to go for a test and end up failing! the ride back would suck ass.
  6. Get proper protection mate, better safe than sorry, the road will eat up jeans in a split second, depending on the speed obviously.
  7. What I mean't by 'cut off' was there maybe be 2 wires touching each other which shouldn't be and this is whats causing the engine to cut off i.e. You should be able to find a 'Haynes Manual' for the bike, type in 'Honda SCV 100 FE Haynes Manual' on google, see what comes up. Good luck!
  8. Checked for any loose connections to the battery or between any other cables? make sure nothing is short circuiting and causing the cut off too.
  9. Crashed the cg125 in training, practicing the emergency stop, snatch the front brake and lowside the bike, oh dear done all the usuals aswell, horn when meaning to indicate etc. All part of learning though.
  10. Thought it was 45 even though the mod 1 was 15 mins? oh well... nahh the maximum is 45 I believe, they cant keep you out for any longer. I was only out for about 30ish minutes before heading back and being told i'd passed
  11. Passed my car test when I was 17 and passed my bike test a few months ago at the age of 20
  12. Just ride safe, to the highway code, think a hundred yards ahead or so and you cant fail
  13. Sunglasses seem a good option and like TC said, can always put em under your seat!
