Just had a word with oldgreg01, he'll be in work on the morning shift, but could meet us at point B on your map for about 2:30ish.

Would an afternoon run be okay with anyone else?

May be able to get out earlier now, say half 1. But won't know until tomorrow evening.

Looks like this is going ahead.

1:30pm start in Barrow's Asda car park, near the fuel station.

2pm head off from High Cross Inn car park in Broughton-in-Furness.

and then off round Coniston.

Anyone else fancy this, it should be a fairly easy pace as I want to gradually get up to speed after my winter hibernation.

well, Russell (2Fast) Helen (RobJam) and I had a run out Easter Sunday, quite leisurely to begin with as the east side of Coniston lake is a B road.. stopped in Broughton for a brew, then returned via the coast road, weather held out, was a nice day,

Yeah sorry about that. Just bad timing with my mate up from Peterborough for the first time in months. Can never say no to the last pint or three. Would of still been over the limit I think even if I did feel good enough to come.

Will definitely get out on the next run. My weekend off this week so will be out and about if the weather is reasonable.
