guybandit Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 So I just gave my bike a really good clean and decided that the swing arm was looking a bit tatty so a used one was found with the idea of sorting it out and flogging the old one on ebay. Then i realised i have no idea about getting it ready for fitting. A mate said that shot blasting and powder coating was the future. Is this some kind of sand blasting? That being said does anyone know somewhere near newcastle that would do such a small job.cheersGuy Quote
Guest akey Posted May 7, 2010 Posted May 7, 2010 shot blasting, sand blasting and media blasting are all similar, the main difference being what is actually being blasted at the component.I would say getting it a good clean up and then powercoating would be the way forward mate, but sorry cant help with a local place.
