its rusted up, i used wool wire and got mot of it off before applying 2 coats of high temp paint. after a month it has all come off and its rusting again. i believe this is due to me leaving a bit of rust on it before painting. Is it a good idea to sand blast it to get rid of all the rust? is there any reason why i shouldnt? Also, does anyone know roughly how much it would cost to get someone to do it? or if its possible to rent a sand blaster myself?

Thanks in advance

They are pretty big you know sand blasters. Can't see it being too expensive to get someone to do it for you. Do you live near an industrial estate/park? Is the exhaust already off the bike? Do you have a car? If its yes to those questions then go for a quick drive and just stop at some smaller places and ask em, if there not busy they might just do it for free or bung a tenner in their sky rocket.........

your exhaust will rust, even if you sand blast it.

use a rust preventative treatment and High Temp paint, but the process of cold to extreme hot, plus water = rust,

other option is a stainless system.
