honda cb600 2000 chain

hello people,


can someone out there let me know if i have this correct,


I have a honda cb600 2000 hornet and need to adjust the chain, am i correct in saying i just need to loosen the back wheel and slowly tighten the adjusting bolt, when chain is correct tension tighten bolt and wheel the check that the wheel is still running true?

move the wheel to find any tight spots and adjust from the tightest point ... Loosen back wheel, tighten adjusters same amount each side, then when its tight enough, as per manual, tighten the rear wheel back up and bobs your auntie ...
