angrycheez Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 The other day my indicators were working perfectly fine. Now they are not lolIt is not the connections that are a problem or any of the bulbs. I know this because when i de/activate my alarm all the Indicators flash once or twice accordingly. I assume the problem is with the indicator selector switch. But I have no knowledge of how to fix this problem. Could someone enlighten me please lolBike: Triumph Daytona 600 04Lights all work, just cant use indicator selector. Thanks in advance. Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 sounds like it could be either the switch or the relay for the indicators you need to check both items Quote
angrycheez Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 what am i looking for when checking the relay? sorry im thick lol Quote
angrycheez Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 btw i know where the relay is, just not how to check its in working order Quote
megawatt Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 If you can get one lamp to flash, you will hear the relay clicking in time with the flash. Spray some WD40 on your indicator switch, after undoing the screws holding it on the handlebar. Excercise the switch a few times. If indicators still don't work, remove relay and connect battery to two connectors, possibly red and black wires and listen for a click. Quote
angrycheez Posted April 1, 2011 Author Posted April 1, 2011 Thanks megawatt but for an even stranger reason... the indicators started working again (without me doing anything to fix them) But ill do what you said anyway just to make sure Thanks Quote
