Guest akey Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 I use a loobman chain oiler, oil the chain every 200 miles. With can lube I used to lube after every decent run out every 150 miles or so. Wurth dry chain lube is great stuff. Quote
Guest Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 Stuno, I've got a scottoiler and i think it's great. It automatically feeds the right amount of lube to the chain as you're riding. Quote
bullet5 Posted April 16, 2011 Posted April 16, 2011 MucOff ptfe for me , every 200 miles while chain still warm. Would this be the Dry or Wet lube? And do you happen to know if 400ml is the largest can they do?Thanks,Bullet5. Quote
redline Posted April 17, 2011 Posted April 17, 2011 i do 500+ miles a week, i have tired all sorts, all the dry chain lube i found was a bit pants ive tried castrols stuff, PDL, Wurth, HG works stuff, silkolene (which was alright but not great) and many many more. The only product i use now is Motul road chain lube.....it never flings and after a week of abuse the chain is still lubed and it protects the cahin through bad weather very well and more than often stays clean better than any other. it dries very tacky but nothing seems to stick to it. the good hting is when applying it it foams up really well and soack right into the chain links. worth the money!parafin to clean! cheapest method by far i have found Quote
