Scotland - Loch Lomond and the area north of there. East side around Edinburgh is boring by comparison.

Brecon Beacons, Builth Wells, Llandrindod Wells A483 Newtown A470 via Rhayader back to Builth Wells.

Then go to Snowdonia.

Or avoid the rain and get on a ferry to France............

I'm tempted to fit in a Nurburgring blast this year as i still have a few weeks of holiday to take. Will be 4-5 days.

Get your passport sorted, i absolutely buzzed off going to france/Switzerland last year it was amazing.

North wales is good as is Yorkshire, Scotland is amazing.

Have a couple ideas planned then check the weather and go on the driest one.

Don't forget your camera

Just read other post Dover. £25?

Dover has the shortest crossing time, most frequent crossings and cheapest fares, balance that with time on the road and cost of getting where you want to be.

google "FERRY ROUTES" to get started on sailing times and ports and see what suits you.

eg Portsmouth to LeHavre is £60 and arrives at 8am if you want to leave the night before.
