JamieK Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 in september sometime my plan is to have a week long ride out but i cant decide where, it will no doubt rain so i dont think good roads will be the main thing i want to find but some good views and general goodness would be nice scotland or wales? bored of england and derbyshire where should i choose? and were specifically should i go in either country Quote

Guest Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Just read other post Dover. £25?Dover has the shortest crossing time, most frequent crossings and cheapest fares, balance that with time on the road and cost of getting where you want to be.google "FERRY ROUTES" to get started on sailing times and ports and see what suits you.eg Portsmouth to LeHavre is £60 and arrives at 8am if you want to leave the night before.
