Rear axle

The rear wheel bearing on my bandit recently went, obviously had to take the axle etc out.

I put the new bearing in and it spun freely etc, and put the axle back on the way it came out and to the torque spec specified in the manual.

A few days later I was cleaning the chain and noticed the rear axle nut was slightly loose, definitely not the reccommended torque spec.

I checked the haynes manual, and according to the diagram, the axle is inserted from the right, not the left as it was before.

Is this right? hard to believe it'd be in the wrong way round :?

Nut shouldn't,t come loose if tightened properly . Check that bearings and spacers are properly seated? Tighten nut as tight as you can, you won't shear the thread.
