Guest Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 I've been riding since I was 3. And motorbikes for 4 years. That makes me 7, woo! Quote
Tango Posted August 8, 2011 Posted August 8, 2011 Seawolf - it'll be good to see you again, we didn't really get to chat at Hartford the other night as it was raining! Great to see another lady biker to join me and Lau!You can meet some of the boyz of the group too, they are all lovely people. None of them have been riding as long as me and they still have lots to learn but they're all making good progress... What about Bonniebird?Gonna have to play this one by ear as our local has a beer festival this weekend which we always frequent.... I have booked Monday off work so I guess if we are back in time we can get down there after. Last year they ended up selling beer at £1 a pint as they had a fair bit left on the Sunday evening....shame we had work the next day... Quote
Seabluegal Posted August 8, 2011 Author Posted August 8, 2011 A good point, apologies to BonnieBird!Tango - sorry you both can't make it Quote

Ash Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 As of friday I will be one of Neil's neighbours. Party at mine? Quote
nman1 Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 (edited) Not too sure if I`m going yet, keep your eye on here and I`ll post up before I leave work on Frioday night at 4.00pm. May have another plan for that day but like I say, I`ll let you know. And yes, Darren, if I do go meet at mine for say 11.45, that will give us time to get over to the services and have a coffee.I presume Ash, if I do go we could all ride over together to meet at the services, and anyone else for that matter.Sorry guys, don`t do parties the night before a ride out, well not too wild ones anyway Edited August 9, 2011 by nman1 Quote

nman1 Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Sounds like a plan Dave, you coming along on Sunday Quote
Ash Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Within 1/2 a mile Dave, I'm up the other end closer too the pubs Do you need help with the move? That's very kind, but I'm fine thank you Quote
Guest Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Sounds like a plan Dave, you coming along on Sunday Yup, not overly impressed with the time of it - half way through the day!! (but then Jayne did organise it, so she's entitled to decide when...) Within 1/2 a mile Dave, I'm up the other end closer too the pubs Cool, near where the Mrs lives. Is it one of the houses on the right as you go towards the pubs from neil's? I think I know the one if it is...and if not, then I've not a clue. Which is not much change from the norm. Quote
acemastr Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 I may be bringing a pillion, an american girl I met on Sunday, nothing set in stone yet though. Quote
Ash Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Yep on the right, opposite the old folks home (no not Neils ) Quote
Guest Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Yep on the right, opposite the old folks home (no not Neils ) Make sure you don't repeat what previous inhabitants have participated in.... (if I think it's the same house...)http://tinyurl.com/3bq6r4w(hunts post article) Quote
Ash Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 You're thinking of the wrong place. The landlord is a seasoned police officer and very picky about who he rents too. Quote
Guest Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 excellent! the advice still stands though, don't do it. Quote
Seabluegal Posted August 9, 2011 Author Posted August 9, 2011 This thread has been hijacked you know...But all very interestingSee you all on Sunday then Quote
Bonniebird Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 Hopefully Tango and me will make it on Sunday, not 100% sure yet tho.Forecast is looking dry - perhaps not that sunny, hunny Quote
Seabluegal Posted August 10, 2011 Author Posted August 10, 2011 BonnieBird - be good if you both could make it I was perhaps a little optomistic in mentioning the 'sunny' before 'hunny'... Quote
Guest Posted August 10, 2011 Posted August 10, 2011 hope it is dry, out of the last three times i've been on my bike, I've ended up soaked. I would like to re-address this ratio. Quote
Seabluegal Posted August 11, 2011 Author Posted August 11, 2011 Gubba - it's always sunny at hunny!!(Except when it's not...) Quote
