F1 going to sky is a shame for those that cannot or do not want to pay the excessive charges but do want to watch it.

On a brighter note I hope that the coverage will be much improved. Sky used to show all the sessions with lots of alternatives on what view to follow. They then cut coverage.

Hopefully with its return to Sky we will get access to choosing

- which driver to follow.

- data read outs (so you can see all the sector times, who is on a personal best, what the gap is between all the drivers, KERS charge / deployment.)

- More choice of what camera angles to select - on board, rear facing, wing etc.

- pit lane

- monitoring / selecting team radios

Glad to see it will be without advert breaks.

Just hope that they take David Coulthard, Martin Brundle and Jake Humphreys. Hope they give Eddie Jordan the boot cant stand him.

Interesting to see that Sky bid the same as channel 4 for the coverage. Assume they won the bid because sky could offer better coverage than channel 4. Where as BBC bowed out in order to be able to afford continued coverage of things like Wimbledon and the Open.
