Mhocking Posted October 19, 2011 Share Posted October 19, 2011 Well did my mod1 today after 3 days of DAS training and failed. Put my foot down on the 2nd loop of the figure of 8 - had never done that before in practice!! Only did about 2 hours of mod1 prep as the instructor said I had it nailed. Oh well. On the positive side have spent most of the lessons riding on the open road and even did a bit of counter steering today. To do the open road stuff is much more enjoyable having only sat on a bike for the first time for my CBT. I'm sure it'll be easier the 2nd time. Key is to keep the revs up and if you feel it start to slow, release the clutch gently to get more drive. You can go as wide as you need to.
