White gunk on the sight glass?

I know some vauxhalls can show fake signs of HGF with frequent short journeys. Does this apply to bikes aswell? The oil itself looks of even consistancy, no 'mayo' on the dipstick, just a patch of white gunk on the inside of the sight glass. The coolant level has remained the same, is this purely from short journeys? Haven't really ridden much further than ten miles in one go for a fair few weeks. Hope its just condensation, should I be worried? Bike is a Gpz500s

Probably just a bit of condensation from not having ridden it much or for long enough. Go for a good long blast or leave it running until the fan cuts in. Remove the oil filler cap while it's hot and hopefully the moisture will evaporate. Check the breather into the air filter as well for gunge in there.

:stupid:

Let it heat up, open oil filler cap with a rag and leave for a minute or two so long as oil isnt spilling...

Curious though, I would expect to see oil in the sight glass and not condensation :?

Is it definately white gunk or is it something else possibly more troublesome?
