Does that mean I would have to ring them every time I put the top box on and every time I took it off again?

Of course it does, that way they can charge you £25 admin fee each time you ring up..

Me thinks they haven't thought about this very well.. 8-)

Mmmmm free advertising, the whole of UK biking has the name Bennetts on their lips. A press release to clarify the position in a few weeks and they should have plenty of customers, clever ! Yes I am a cynical bast*rd.

I had this list all declared on my Draggie

D&G Hardkrome Exhaust

crash bar/highway pegs

Screen

rack & pannier rails

leather luggage

custom footpegs

custom handlebar grips

K&N air filter

insured with ebike and did not affect my premium.

Scottoiler

Carbon Hugger

Tank Pad,

Crash Bungs

Datatool Alarm

Paint Protector Film

Rear Rack

And hopefully soon:

Radiator Protector

Nose fairing Screen

Now.....would a K&N oil filter count as a modification?......and the air in the tyres is not the original...

None that count for insurance - yes I checked with my insurer, but the only 2 things that are non OE options on mine are:

Touratech side stand foot.

Touratech Screen spoiler (its clipped on not a perm fix)
