the bars move too much so when i take a corner the bars move also

when i got it newish the steering was stiff and required me to move to take corners and now it feels more like my old cbf500 where i have to use the bars to move instead of using my body.

Have read, waited , considered, reread, and still don't understand :?

You may just have got more used to the bike and are cornering harder. I cannot imagine how it is possible to steer a bike without moving the bars. The fact that it now feels like a bike you were used to may mean that you're used to this one. If the bars are jiggling about in a corner then a steering damper may help. 8-)

Are you talking about play in the Steering Head bearings? This can be felt by putting the bike on a paddock stand and jacking the front end so that the front wheel is off the ground then grabbing the bottom of the fork legs and moving them backwards and forwards. Any movement in this area would suggest the Head bearings need tightening/replacing. Another way to check this is to sit on the bike and with the front brake on try rocking the bike forwards and backwards. If you can feel or hear a slight knocking coming through the bars, that would indicate the same thing.
