Tango Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Depends on how much dosh you've got....but it may be worth a ton to get it set up professionally for you...... Quote
Fozzie Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 Couple of places up north I know do a suspension setup depending on how you ride and how much you weigh etc.Costs less than £100 for a setup using stock suspension. And obviously skys the limit if you go further! Quote
Guest philgale Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 If your ever on a track day there is suspension setup there for about £45. They will give you track settings then change it for road afterwords so you get best of both Quote
uk190 Posted December 11, 2012 Posted December 11, 2012 The owners manual shows how to set it harder or softer. I would suggest you set your sag first based on your weight and once your preload is right you can then look at the damping and compression rates to suit your riding style. Google setting sag if your unsure. Quote
fatboyzmc Posted December 11, 2012 Author Posted December 11, 2012 cheers think the last owner must of had a track day then flogged it, Quote
Stu Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 There is some great guides on trouble shooting suspension on here already Quote
