Stu Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 try with a fully charged battery as the batteries are dead Quote
Badger08 Posted February 24, 2013 Author Posted February 24, 2013 batteries all on charge as we speak lol we have a few spare but not been used for a while Quote
Stu Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 the spare will be flat too they loose charge over time and the clicking is the starter solenoid clicking on and of as there isn't enough juice in the battery Quote
megawatt Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Try cleaning the ends of the heavy duty cables. Earth to battery, battery to solenoid and solenoid to starter motor. If it still clicks with a fully charged battery, remove the starter motor and spin it backwards a few times. Then spin it with a connection to earth, but watch out for sparks and that it doesn't jump out of your hand. If it spins , replace it and try again. Quote
Tango Posted February 24, 2013 Posted February 24, 2013 Yep.....sounds like not enough juice in the batteries to get it to spin properly.......well charged batteries should sort this out...... Quote
