Hey guys

I've found a P plate Honda shadow...dont know what cc...as what you could describe as a bard find...it hasn't been run for at least a couple of years ...needs a good clean etc...

what do you think would be a fair price?

I've never been good at prices...hence the question...

This could be a nice new project?

can you get any pics of it or get to see it in person exhausts rot out on them and are hard to find replacements for could be 125 cc 250cc 600cc 800cc price depends on engine size if its been laid up and looks filthy try ur luck with a low price

Hi Steve

By the looks of it, it is at least 600cc probably 800cc....been kept outside but under cover.....looks dirty, discs rusty etc but overall in pretty good.....exhaust I'm not bothered about....I'lll make, modify and adapt...I wont be trying to build a replica, concourse machine....I'm a rider so will make do providing it's safe etc :)..

I was thinking in the region of £300 ish...

Can you not just put the reg into some kind of reg checker? It should tell you exactly what bike it is then.

Pretty easy to tell the difference. Look at the engines

Yeah I could but I really have no need...the bike is less than 100 yds from where I am sat and I know the lad thats selling it...I watched him grow up..lol...

I have no wish to embarrass myslef or the lad so I was just fishing as I am useless at buying....and selling....lol

I'm damn good at problem solving and fixing tho...lmao

My guess is the 1100....but it could be the 750....nice

From the front mudguard I would favour the 750....definately

If it's a 750 and got the extended mudguard, it's a USA Import 'Special' :D

if its been sat outside under a cover for a couple of years have a good luck at the frame and swingarm, could be very badly rusted.

£300 - £400 sounds good to me :D

Find some rust first. That's a complete strip down and send to the powder coaters job  Then offer £250

to be fair 300 is a good stating point offer it and see how shocked they look

Hahaha, let us know what he says, and which bike it is. They're awesome, moo loves a Shadow!

And when in doubt offer a packet of crisps

Got me £50 off a bike recently after he had gone down as far as he was willing to go.
