Guest Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Hi So I'm in abit of a dilemma as to my safety gear for my testI have a cheap set of textiles that I bought for my cbt But I also have a 2 pc dainese leather suit that I bought after passing my cbtWhat should I wear I don't want the instructor to think I'm up my own arse turning up in a full on race set up lol Quote
acting_strange Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Wear what you feel most comfortable in.....Your not on a fashion parade....the examiner will be wanting to see your riding ability decisions which include the clothing you wear....he/she wouldnt be impressed if you turned up in jeans and a tee shirt... Tiggie Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 either would be ok, I think the instructor would just be happy that you didnt show up in shorts & t-shirt do you have proper footwear? race rep leathers with trainers would go down well i'm sure Quote
Guest Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Thanks guysYes I have proper gear boots decent gloves and helm I made sure when I passed my cbt and got out on the road I bought the best that was in my budget and what was the most comfortable Quote
TC Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 I would wear the textiles. I do think if there was a boarderline pass, the examiner would look at what he thinks you will like as a rider. Then make his decision. Quote
Tango Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 Kitted out in decent and appropriate gear will show the examiner that you are serious about biking.....so that may well go in your favour..... Quote
littlecat Posted March 3, 2013 Posted March 3, 2013 wore full leathers for mine...just left the sliders at home Quote
maccy Posted March 5, 2013 Posted March 5, 2013 I was wearing 2pc leathers with a high vis jacket over the top. I think they just want to see you are safe. Quote
