mightysaints Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Not sure what's wrong. I have an old gsx 750 es. Starts first time and ticks over ok. Serviced last week, new plugs, oil, filters etc. Goes well up to 8000rpm but no further in any gear. Anyone have an idea why this is happening Quote

Tango Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 So....when it gets to 8000rpm does it start stuttering.....or does it just not go any further? Quote
mightysaints Posted June 4, 2013 Author Posted June 4, 2013 It's stuttering, drop the revs down it and its ok. Feels like fuel starvation but why Quote

cooper99 Posted June 5, 2013 Posted June 5, 2013 If your air filter seated correctly or your air box not seating correctly on the inlet to the mainfold Quote
mightysaints Posted June 16, 2013 Author Posted June 16, 2013 Sorted it out. Put in new coils and a CDI from an old GSX thousand and the engine is very sweet now. Revs right through the range Quote
