Hi ... has any one got a picture of the CBR fork breakdown. I have volenteered me sen to help a lass out and replace her leaking fork seals. Also info about how much fork oil or the level from the top they should be filled with.

nigel.. if u download one of the haynes manuals u can print off for your mate or save to CD so they have a copy permenantly..


all fluit level and types are stated in the manuals anyway :)

Oh boy I got the forks and a manual........



The fork seal have been done before, and guess what, the bolts that hold the dampers in at the bottom are a b****r to get un done. ones rounded and other keeps breaking my allen keys. What have i let myself in for?

Hoo ya forks stripped, cleaned and sliders polished, beautiful.


now to get buggers back together!


Oh and by the way if any one is interested the air pressure for the pre load is 0 to 6 PSI.
